The Tau Sekar sector
The Tau Sekar sector was located in the galaxy.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Tau Sekar sector was mentioned in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a 1990 roleplaying game source article written by Glen Allison as a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in Voyages SF 13. The article placed the Calonica, Coronar, F'tral, Squab (labeled as the "Skor" system in the article), Sullust, Tau Sakar (misspelled as "Tau Sekar" and listed separately from[1] its constituent planet Garban),[2] and Thanos systems in the Tau Sekar sector.[1]
Since the article was released outside of the Lucas Licensing process, it is considered non-canonical,[3] and the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas has since placed all of the star systems previously assigned to the Tau Sekar sector—with the exception of the Coronar system—in other sectors.[4]
