The Tarshan system was located in the Maerdocian sector,[1] a part of the Slice portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] It shared its name with the company Tarshan Ring Excavations.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Tarshan system was established in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square Q-12.[1]
