The Tarsarian stomper was a non-native predatory species kept in Taris zoos. A breeding population survived the Destruction of Taris, and initially thrived in the post-bombardment environment. A mutated strain of the Rakghoul plague infected the population, resulting in the Tarsarian devourer. This new predator soon out-competed its predecessor, driving the stompers extinct on Taris.[1]
