Tarsa was a forested planet in the Tarsa system, which was located in the Mid Rim.

It was the site of an Imperial relay station used to transmit fleet orders across the galaxy. The station was destroyed by Luke Skywalker, after he escaped Imperial custody on the planet. Tarsa was home to swarms of huge Alessian terror moths.

Behind the scenes

While Tarsa was a planet according to the later and more canon Essential Atlas, Yoda's dialogue in Star Wars: Yoda Stories refers to a forest moon of Tarsa.
