Small, but precise and powerful similar to sporting blasters, target blasters differed from sporting blasters in that they had powerful stun settings, and could be used as a heavy stun blaster to subdue would-be attackers.[1] At least some target blasters were modified to only fire non-lethal blasts.[2] These potent non-lethal features made them popular with politicians and diplomats who carried target blasters for unprofessional and minimal usage, as well as among others of good reputation, such as city-dwellers and ship captains.[1][2]
History
Senator Bail Organa used a target blaster that was modified to fire only stun blasts during the Clone Wars.[2]
