Taloraan City, also known as Cloud City, was the capital city of Taloraan and one of the sites of the battle above Taloraan. It featured several tall, spire-like buildings atop a massive repulsorlift generator, similar to technologies used on Bespin.
History
Clone Wars
Taloraan City,[2] sometimes referred to as Cloud City,[3] was a city floating in the atmosphere of the gas giant Taloraan. The city was home to a series of tibanna gas mining facilities. During the Clone Wars, it was visited by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker on a diplomatic mission.[2]
Galactic Civil War
During the Galactic Civil War, Commander Luke Skywalker led Rogue Squadron to destroy most of the Imperial-owned tibanna gas in an attempt to weaken the local Moff Kohl Seerdon's resources.[1]
Behind the scenes
Taloraan City first appeared in the 1998 video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide mistakenly refers to the structure as "Cloud City."
