Leia's Birthday
The point of the twins traveling to Alderaan for the part of the planet is to provide a birthday gift for their mother, Leia. Oddly at no point in the story is it mentioned that it is also Luke's birthday. Even during the celebration they have a cake and Luke is there. Just seems kind of odd that no one said, "oh happy birthday uncle Luke".

I noticed that too. Was that the authors mistake?
When this story was created no one knew that Leia and Luke were twins, or even when Luke was born. I'm pretty sure they didn't know Leia's birthday either, but even if Bail Organa wouldn't say the original one, retconning it to him at least giving her a birthday for celebration's sake is not illogical, albeit unconfirmed.

In this case, the book was from before ROTS, so it's not realy a continuity error. This would be a relevant note in a Continuity section for the article though. Be BOLD. NaruHina Talk

Ailen Vel?
Where does it say that Boba Fett is really Ailen Vel in that series? because at one point in the book it's from Boba Fett's point of view and he thinks of himself as Boba Fett.
Leia's birthday issue revisited
I had a brainwave. Given that Leia was adopted and Luke was taken in by his aunt and uncle, one or both might have been assigned birthdays than the actual date as they were raised. Would have helped with the secret-keeping, and Owen might not even have known the real date for sure. And thus even after the revelation they would celebrate their birthdays separately, going instead with the dates they were used to (especially since after Zahn for whatever reason "killed" the spirits of Yoda and Obi-Wan, R2-D2 was the only one left who knew the actual date anyway and he was memory-locked at the time.). Of course, this is just speculation on my part. ZeldaTheSwordsman (talk) 21:33, August 20, 2016 (UTC)
