Does anyone have the old WEG standard sourcebook? There is a drawn collage in it over many characters, including Xim. It would be a great scan. --SparqMan 03:53, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
- Searched all WEG sourcebooks and could not find the drawing in question. -- Frank V Bonura 01:32, May 23, 2011 (UTC)
Hyperdrive
How is it possible for the Tion Hegemony to be reached that early, without the hyperdrive? MoffRebus 15:39, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- They got there v e r y s l o w l y . . . . of course, I always had the impression Xim had a hyperdrive fleet. — Silly Dan 15:44, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Xim did have a fleet equipped with rudimentary hyperdrives - "Their hyperdrives fused bits of Rakatan technology with fixed-position hyperspace beacons, allowing for travel within a defined area but presenting potentially fatal dangers if they ventured outside the 'lighthouse network'" (New Essential Chronology, p. 4). However, you're right about the actual colonization of the Tion happening very slowly - the ancient pre-Republic colonization efforts were handled by sleeper ships. jSarek 19:35, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Where he died
Okay, now that we know that the "Xim was killed at Vontor" was a bunch of Tionese propaganda, there is a new twist: Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds says he died on Nal Hutta, but The New Essential Guide to Droids says he died on Varl. What shall we do? -- SFH 18:27, 3 July 2006 (UTC) Use the most recebt source 64.59.144.21 00:48, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- I would argue the oldest sources are correct and the authors of subsequent sources failed to do their homework (basic Research). I think Vontor is the original and correct location. -- Frank V Bonura 01:37, May 23, 2011 (UTC)
Daritha
I added his title of "Daritha" (ancient Rakatan word for Darth) based on the Part 1 of the EGW Endnotes--64.76.110.46 00:04, June 27, 2012 (UTC)
