Automated?

I didn't notice this myself, but according to the databank the Tank Droid has a Battle Droid pilot, and is therefore not entirely automated. Can anyone confirm the presence of a pilot droid?

Possibly conflicting canon

The CSWE seems to tell a different tale of the tank droid. It says "the first tank droid was finalized during Thrawn's reign of terror against the New Republic. The droid was not fully realized, however, until Umak Leth brought the idea before the cloned Emperor Palpatine. Although the XR-85 was highly successful, mass production of the sentient droid brain was cost-prohibitive." —Xwing328(Talk) 05:58, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

XR-85 vs WR-85

The article says that the huge size model of the XR-85 was still named XR-85, and names the tank droind in the Dark Empire Sourcebook picture as XR-85. However the Dark Empire Sourcebook names it "WR-85 Tank Droid" --85.55.201.179 23:01, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

  • Nevermind, the picture in the sourcebook says WR-85, the statblock and flavour text says XR-85, so XR-85 is correct and WR-85 is a typo. --Geekizer (talk) 22:44, June 28, 2013 (UTC)
