New model
I'm pretty sure that this is just a standard model and that it's just the art style of the comic.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 12:57, June 13, 2019 (UTC)
- There appear more than a few TIE fighters in the issue, all drawn/colored correctly. But as the article points out this different design appears in more than one panel, and next to a regular TIE. For me that are too many coincidences to be mere oversight. Storywise it seems plausible as well to have a probably experimental TIE at this factory. This is after all the place Darth Vader chooses to upgrade his TIE Advanced. Solofan (talk) 13:35, June 13, 2019 (UTC)
- Its possible, but as Vitus said this looks like a standard model with just the art style of comic changing it. Saying that its another model is kind of speculation.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:34, June 15, 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, there really isn't anything concrete about this being a separate model TIE. I'll add the delete template soon if there aren't any objections--Vitus InfinitusTalk 14:28, June 15, 2019 (UTC)
- Could you please elaborate what you mean by "art style of (the) comic"? It is not like Stephen Mooney and Lee Loughridge represent other TIE fighters this way but just this unique one. In any way i believe a deletion would be wrong. If the assumption for it to be a distinctive model is considered to be too speculative already the article should instead be reworked to cover an individual ship. The differences should at least warrant that. Solofan (talk) 01:06, June 16, 2019 (UTC)
- There just really isn't anything that indicates that this is a separate TIE fighter and assume it's a predecessor to the First Order's TIE Fighter. This TIE looks like the same TIE found in other parts of the comic to me and there aren't any differences between this TIE and other standard TIEs in other media except for its style.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 15:13, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
