Was wondering if we should make note of the various body types of Trandoshans which have been represented in Star Wars media, from the tall Bossk to the shorter, fatter, and more apelike bodies of the slavers seen in Star Wars: Republic Commando? -- Falmarin 01:25, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Why? It's not at all noteworthy that humans come in all shapes and sizes, so why bother making a note about it with nonhumans? - Kooshmeister
Trandoshan Jedi?
Are there any known Trandoshan force users or Jedi?
- Krussk, if you consider multiplayer-mode content to be canon. It's definitely a case of an official Star Wars game depicting a Trandoshan using the Force, at least. --Andrew Nagy 07:35, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Multiplayer in games aren't canon...83.183.219.250 19:00, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
The Edge of the Empire core book makes mention of one. Can't remember his name, and I don't own it, but it's a place to start. He tried to arrange peace between his people and the wookiees on Kashyyyk, but got martyred saving a wookie pup. --71.226.98.222 02:19, July 15, 2014 (UTC)
We Should.
Yeah We Should, I feel like Trandoshans aren't being potrayed right in the article. I Have a trandoshan in Star Wars Galaxies (Name Is Yossk Kinstar, Galaxy Is Intrepid) and he is exactly what i think a trandoshan should be. I'll post a few pics soon. There is a another trandoshan jedi called Lissarkh, she was a jedi knight of the jedi order and fight during the clone wars, her master was Plo Koon.
Weaponry Section
The weaponry section needs a complete overhaul, as it has out of universe reference and the tense in present. Since I do not know anything about Trandoshan weaponry, I would be grateful if someone were to correct this blemish. Falmarin 19:46, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Mkay, I did it, if you would like to keep the comparisons with other guns, use in universe material as opposed to OOU. Alternatively you can include the OOU material in the "Behind the Scenes" section. -- Falmarin 01:43, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Reptiles
Is that a female reptile with breasts? Is that canon? Trandoshans are like lizards. Lizards are not mammals. Lizards do not usually drink milk. If it's canon, there should be a retcon that says non-mammal humanoid females get surgery and wigs and stuff so they look more like the dominant Humans. -Aiddat 13:00, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- "Regarding reptilian aliens (ie:Falleen) with mammilian characteristics--why not? These are alien beings in a GFFA. Wouldn't they be more alien if they did not follow earthly species and anatomy 'rules'? In a galaxy where fish-heads walk around on two legs, it would seem to make sense to me."

- Note that Trandoshans and many other biped, sentient, reptilian species are in most likelihood reptomammals. -Inigo Montoya
Regeneration
Shouldn't it be mentioned that as Trandoshans get older they lose their ability to regenerate.--Darth Oblivion 02:46, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- sure, as long as you can back it up w/ a source :) -- Falmarin 04:00, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
First appearance
There are multiple shots(at least two) of Trandoshans in Mos Eisley(one in the Cantina one right after) in Star Wars: A New Hope. Just thought it might want to be added and the first appearance changed.
- Those are Saurins. They are similar in appearance to Trandoshans.--Lord OblivionSith holocron

I noticed this, too. The first Saurin is wearing a spacer's helmet, with the same suit as Bossk, when our heroes enter. The second Saurin is seen briefly when Greedo turns his head.
Trandoshan Biology
I didn't read the entire article, but shouldn't we have some sort of section on their biology?--SWME 14:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
- A fact about this: In Star Wars: Republic Commando, it shows that Trandoshans have green blood. What makes their blood this color?--SWME 14:47, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Some questions
Just needed to find out some stuff about Trandoshans, like:
- Do they shed their skin; and
- Do the Wookiees keep Trandoshan pelts as prizes, like the Trandos do with Wookiee pelts?
--85.130.33.122 01:01, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes and yes. The sources for these statements are probably in The Essential Guide to Aliens and The New Essential Guide to Alien Species. MyNz 01:05, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Thanks, I really needed that info! --85.130.33.122 15:47, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Palace or Barge
I might be mistaken, but isn't that picture of Bossk from Jabba's Sail Barge, and not from the B'omarr Monastery/Jabba's Palace? Sochwa 00:54, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Red thing at bottom
there is a funny red thing near the bottom of the page, just wanted to let you know.76.105.233.104 22:04, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Contradiction
The "Biology and appearance" section is self-contradictory with regard to age. First it says that 54 is "middle ages", then the last paragraph of the section states that middle age is 35–50 and that 54 is considered old. Accordingly, I've tagged it with {{Contradict}} (which was actually first added by an anon, then reverted for lack of an explanation) pending a fix. —Master Jonathan(Jedi Council Chambers) 03:42, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe it meant they were able to regenerate limbs through their middle ages and stop by the time they reached 54? Also, they are described to have "orange eyes with horizontal black pupils," though Gha Nachkt clearly has white eyes and round pupils, bearing strong resemblance to that of Human eyes. Two other contradictions he displays include that he has four fingers, not three, and the ends of his fingers are similar to fingernails, not claws. His fingers appear to display "manual dexterity," something most Trandoshans are said to lack. This can be assumed by the fact that his fingers are more visibly jointed and not very curved, as most of his kin's are. --Darth Shohet 19:04, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
Pupil Shape
Having seen the contradiction between the horizontal slitted Trandoshan Eyes and more natural Circular eyes, could it be possible that the horizontal eyes are adjusted (Similar to a cats vertical) for dimmer light, while the circular eyes are for brighter light? If you look in most of the pictures, this is actually the case with the slits in the darker ones and pupils in brighter.

In regard to Weaponry
From my basic knowledge of Trados, they use concoussion weapons and anything else they can use other than stuff like knives.--173.26.82.200 01:21, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

Basic
Can Trandoshans speak Basic? --71.10.17.167 21:17, February 20, 2011 (UTC)
- In Replubic Cammando you can hear them mumble some basic.--Czekaboss 00:49, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- If you play on Kashyyyk in Replublic Cammando and turn subtitles on they talk a little basic.--Czekaboss 01:02, February 27, 2011 (UTC)

life-span
Hmm, Saga edition roleplaying book states that their average lifespan is much lower than what this page states... Which source is right? What actually is the source of that average life-spans on their page? --87.95.79.226 22:22, October 19, 2011 (UTC)
