Tommy's role

The cited source does not seem to back up the claim that Tommy played a Lutrillian: It shows Tommy's name attached to an alien called "Grasshopper," who looks nothing like a Lutrillian. And it's a production sketch, hardly authoritative about who actually wore what costume during shooting of the film. Ponda Baba's Behind the scenes section says Tommy played Ponda, a claim which is completely unsourced. Does anyone have authoritative information on whether Tommy appeared in the film at all, and if so, in which costume? Asithol (talk) 10:25, November 17, 2014 (UTC)

  • Further, this article's history is murky. Its revision history shows that an unregistered user created it in August 2014. But user Cato Neimoidia claims to have created the article, although he has been inactive since March 2014. This suggests to me that the article existed and was deleted before its August re-creation. • Exiled Jedi confirmed my suspicion that this page had a previous life, saying, "The previous article said that he played Ponda Baba, and it was deleted for being unverified information." IMDB does back up the Ponda Baba claim, however, so I've restored it to this page, and removed the specious Lutrillian credit. Asithol (talk) 05:14, May 15, 2015 (UTC)

Tom Spina who does the cantina panel w/ Pablo Hildago at Celebration events and had access to the Lucasfilm archives and more, doesn't know who played Ponda Baba but recently said "Isley was one of the Hare Mouse aliens according to Mollo and Freebs' notes." IMDb credits shouldn't be taken too seriously for obscure non-credited extras.
