Episode guide

Since it seems it has not yet come to Wookieepedia's attention just yet, Tipping Point's SW.com episode guide is up. Bane7670 (talk) 20:43, October 24, 2012 (UTC)

Behind the scenes

Some nutjob wrote a whole comparison about this episode and Operation Cyclone, and although I think it's kind of a huge stretch or a coincidence I do think they has a point. I personally think it resembles more aspects of Vietnam or even the Cuban revolution, and I'll probably edit some of that info too. I think the "source?" template doesn't apply here, as whoever wrote that never said "this episode is based on..." but rather that it seems reminiscent of historical events, I don't think you need a source to say "this looks like this". As I said, it must look like a stretch but this wiki has seeing weirder things. Not to mention George Lucas or whoever made the script has put tons of his politic ideas in other episodes, like Amidala wanting to spend less money on the military and more on a welfare system, making a speech about the suffering of the common people (using Teckla Minnau's family) in Pursuit of Peace. Technically, that entire section violates Wookieepedia's stance on original research (drawing, creating, or documenting connections or similarities between concepts or media without a Lucasfilm source) and is also entirely unsourced. If Lucas or any other material does draw those comparisons, select portions can be re-added with proper referencing.spookywillowwtalk 18:31, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
