Devilworlds

I'm not seeing Devilworlds nor A New Hope Special Edition on here... I'll add them as soon as I figure out how this sweet site works... Unsigned comment by Drokkon (talk • contribs)

  • That's because they are already included in the their respective TPB collections.--Ranat 23 22:50, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Droids: The Kalarba Adventures

This list shows Star Wars Droids: The Kalarba Adventures at 4 BBY, yet the articles show 10 BBY. Which is correct? —Xwing328(Talk) 02:18, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Dark Forces

Why are the three Dark Forces novellas on this? I think, they are no comics at all. Radox13

  • Because they are graphic novels and are published by a comic company? -Fnlayson 04:53, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Move and reorganization

Today I am going to move this page to Timeline of comics (detailed) and use Timeline of comics to do a list like the ones for the books, without all the arcs and only with the series. Easier to read and far more useful. — RedVix | 11:59, 5 April 2009 (UTC) (7:59 EST))

  • No objection? — RedVix | 13:57, 5 April 2009 (UTC) (9:57 EST)

Other page's deletion

To the user that move the page: could you add the missing comics that I added in the page you just deleted and could you correct all the bad links I corrected? Thanks. — RedVix | 23:20, 15 April 2009 (UTC) (19:20 EST)

Battle of the Bounty Hunters

Any reason I don't see that in there? Unsigned comment by 67.184.82.131 (talk • contribs)

  • Because it's not a comic? — RedVix | 20:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
    • Sure it is. It says right on the cover "The Pop-Up Comic Book!" Unsigned comment by 67.184.82.131 (talk • contribs)
      • So it seems it's a pop-up comic book and not a comic. — RedVix | 15:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Comics vs Graphic Novels

I would like to see if someone (more knowledgable than me) could rework this list to show the graphic novels vs comic releases. Unsigned comment by 97.118.191.4 (talk • contribs)

River of Chaos

This series is between 0.5 to 1 ABY. Why it's on 2 ABY in the timeline? Unsigned comment by 190.232.177.78 (talk • contribs)

22 BBY missing comics

Hello, I noticed that two comics you have listed Toys R Us Exclusive #01 Full of Surprises and #03 Practice Makes Perfect are not under the 22 BBY Banner. This is especially strange as #01 and #04 are there. Just curious if they don't fall into continuity or if it is an oversight? Unsigned comment by 216.211.255.226 (talk • contribs)

Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand

When in the timeline is this series exactly set? Its page says, it's 4 ABY, though issue 0 is set in 0 BBY. Someone moved it back to 4 ABY in the timeline after I moved to 0 BBY. My opinion is, that issue 0 is no kind of looking back upon the actual events in 0 BBY, but actually just the events itself depicted. If this is right the page about the series should be changed to 0 BBY as well (or 0 BBY4.5 ABY as the TPB) What do you think?--Chimealheltei 19:22, February 6, 2012 (UTC)

Star Wars Adventures Volume 6: Chewbacca and the Slavers of the Shadowlands

The article mistakenly places that story in 6 ABY. It is actually set 6 months after the Battle of Yavin. DKS MaXoO 17:34, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Individual issues

I just want to throw this idea out there. What if we re-did this page so that the individual comics are listed. Then, in another column, we tell where they're collected. I know it would be a pain to do, but I'm willing to work on it if you feel that would be a beneficial edit.

  • I am working on a version here. I'm trying to use the same color coding as the other pages for comics.—Eшσҡ $їтӈ Lōяƌ 18:15, June 15, 2012 (UTC)

Timeline mismatches

Is there anything that can be done to reconcile the differences between this timeline and the timeline of media? What is the purpose of having two separate timelines that should show the same information, especially since the timeline of media can be sorted to just show comics if that is what the user is interested in? Austin.p.harper (talk) 05:23, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

  • I've made a few changes to both Timelines based on things I am confident in their placements. I scanned both Timelines and produced the following list of conflicts for whomever wants to work these out. Tainb'ocu'chulainn (talk) 16:28, January 23, 2014 (UTC)
  • In Timeline of Comics but not Timeline of media
    • Tales: Nameless
    • Podracing Tales
    • Phantom Menace PhotoComic
    • Attack of the Clones Photocomic
    • Clone Wars Photocomic
    • Revenge of the Sith Photocomic
    • Episode IV Photocomic
      • (I don't feel like adding the Photocomics as they really add nothing, but they exist so they should probably be in there)
    • The Clone Wars Adventures are listed by volume in the ToC, while they are split out in the ToM
    • Full of Surprises
    • The Clone Wars: The Enemy Within
    • The Clone Wars: Defenders of the Lost Temple
    • The Clone Wars: The Smuggler's Code
      • (I generally avoid making modifications in the Clone Wars epoch as it is such a dumpster fire, but anyone is welcome to take a stab at it.)
    • Marvel Droids (conflicting placements, needs research)
    • Imperial Spy
    • The Constancia Affair
    • The Kashyyyk Depths
    • Tales from Mos Eisley
    • Tales: Fortune, Fate, and the Natural History of the Sarlacc (non-canon per article)
    • Tales: The Lost Lightsaber (non-canon)

The Dark Forces series aren't really comics, just a book with some illustrations...

  • Placement differences between the Timelines that require research:
    • Droids: The Kalarba Adventures - ToM has in 5.5 BBY not 10 BBY
    • Droids order conflict
    • Boba Fett: Enemy of the Empire: ToM and articles place in 3 BBY
    • Conflicting placements of The Force Unleashed b/t 3 and 2 BBY - many articles need to be updated either way.
    • Agent of the Empire entirely in 3 BBY?
    • Boba Fett is Dead
    • Han Solo and the Hollow Moon of Khorya
    • The Short, Happy Life of Roons Sewell
    • In the Shadow of Yavin/Dark Horse Star Wars
    • Shadow Stalker
    • Rookies
    • SWA: Chewbacca and the Slavers of the Shadowlands
    • Boba Fett: Overkill
    • Tales: Sand Blasted
    • SWA: The Will of Darth Vader
    • Fool's Bounty in 3.5 ABY
    • Tales: Spare Parts
    • Tales: Lucky
    • Mara Jade: A Night on the Town
    • Boba Fett: Agent of Doom
  • In Timeline of media but not Timeline of Comics

    • Visionaries: The Eyes of Revolution
    • Tales: The Way of the Warrior

Battle of the Bounty Hunters (again)

It has been briefly discussed almost 5 years ago it seems, but I really think that Battle of the Bounty Hunters should be in this list. It is indeed a short comic, presented in pop-up, but it's still a comic nonetheless, and published by Dark Horse. I see no reason for it to not be in that timeline, even less considering that it is an important story, as it visually shows how Boba Fett has delivered Han Solo in carbonite to Jabba. So I'll add it, and let's discuss it if someone does not agree. --Kaal (talk) 15:09, March 23, 2014 (UTC)

Original Marvel Star Wars Comics

Original 1977 Marvel Star Wars comic series is missing from the timeline.

Order of arcs in 19 BBY

I would recommend setting the arcs and issues of 19 BBY in full chronological order. Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison should be between Dark Times Out of the Wilderness and Dark Times Fire Carrier. Republic Hidden Enemy should be before Republic: Loyalties or even before Revenge of the Sith. Unsigned comment by 188.109.215.35 (talk • contribs)

Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir

Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir miniseries has been removed from this page at 03:53, 12 December 2021‎. While the series' article marks it as Canon, the Star Wars Legends section of that article indicates that the comic series applies to the Legends continuity in addition to the official Star Wars canon. How about reverting the removal and bringing the miniseries back to this page? Unsigned comment by Vedg (talk • contribs)

  • I have readded the comic to the table, in future you're welcome to revert the edit Lewisr (talk) 20:03, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

Amazing Work, Editors

I just want to say that this is an incredible list, and you've all done a fantastic job updating it over the years. I need to use this page every few years or so, and since the last time there's been a big improvement. Rather than, understandably, having whole series just lumped into the list, so many have instead been broken up with their individual stories and issues rearranged into the actual timeline. For example, the Republic and Clone Wars Adventures comics. It's an impressive effort to have made this, and it's a very helpful and satisfying aid for reading the comics. Mara Jade - By the Emperor's Hand #0

Seems to be missing - apparently happens around 0BBY?
