Do we know that Thire himself accompanied Palpatine to Mustafar? We only have confirmation that he searches the Senate for Yoda - and, as per his orders from the Emperor himself, would still be searching while Palpatine's shuttle launches (immediate take-off wouldn't leave much time for Thire to join him) - Kwenn

Senate

Link to Commander Fox's Coruscant Guard?

Is there any connection between Commander Fox's Coruscant Guard and Commander Thire's shocktoopers?--Shadowxander 09:39, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Thire's shocktroopers are a special branch of the Coruscant Guard. So yes, they are connected.

Mission to Rugosa

Image/Coruscant Guard

First off, is there another version of this image actually showing Palpatine? Just curious.

Second, it says Thire saw his troops become Coruscant Guards. Did he also become one or what happened to him?

Nevermind all the above. I went to the link and saw the image. I guess we can assume he remained in command of his men as they continued their service on Coruscant, unless there is a canon source to prove me wrong? Leader of CG

Under Promotion, it says that Thire was placed as the leader of the Coruscant Guard. I changed this to a commander of the CG because Fox is the leader of it as a whole, per the SW database. Red Heathen (talk) 23:38, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
