Name

• The Tribe is referred to as "the covert" in the most recent episode. Could that count as the name for the article? Braha'tok enthusiast (talk) 21:14, November 22, 2019 (UTC)
  • It could also refer to the enclave itself. "Tribe" is capitalized in the subtitles, meaning it's not conjectural, so it's the best name we can use right now. Zed42 (talk) 22:09, November 22, 2019 (UTC)

Merge

From what I gather, the Tribe and the Children of the Watch are one and the same. --Potsk (talk) 13:22, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

• Not necessarily. The Tribe may be just a branch of the Children of the Watch. VergenceScatter (talk) 16:11, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
• I think at this point The Tribe and Children of the Watch should be merged. Per Chapter 21: The Pirate, Mandalorian factions are referred to as tribes, with the Children of the Watch being one. Maybe this article can be rewritten as "Mandalorian tribe" similar to Mandalorian clan and Mandalorian house. --Vitus Infinitus^Talk 11:51, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
  • There are sources that call them The Tribe, I think they are just part of the Children of the Watch, but not necessarily all of them.PureBeskar (talk) 12:34, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
    • It makes sense for earlier sources to simply call them "the Tribe" given how the show later revealed that they are the Children of the Watch, which is an orthodox sect of Mandalorian culture, and the Children of the Watch is "a tribe" of Mandalorians per the latest episode. --Vitus Infinitus^Talk 03:17, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
    • In Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian: The Making of Season 3, production members refer to the three factions as "tribes," with the three tribes being the Mandalorian resistance led by Bo-Katan Kryze, the Children of the Watch, and the survivors on Mandalore. This information in this article should be merged into Children of the Watch and rewritten to reflect that Mandalorian tribes are factions. --Vitus Infinitus^Talk 16:30, 3 July 2023 (UTC)

        • Yeah I long got the sense that the Tribe is just a name the members of the Children use to refer to themselves, I think they should be merged as well Lewisr (talk) 20:03, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
