Dramatis personae needs updating. Danni Quee gets further Jedi Training...but by which Jedi Master? I remember something about a dragon-like master tricking her into fighting? Speaking happens telepathically, but I don't have the book anymore, and I haven't found the info anywhere.
Was this book criticized just for Anakins death, or was it also criticized for Borsk Fey'lya's? And if there were people that criticized Fey'lya's death, SEEK HELP! -- SFH 01:17, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)
date
Most of the articles about the events of this novel say that it took place in 27 ABY. Lately I've been thinking more and more that Star By Star took place some time in early 28 ABY. It says at one point in the novel that the twins were 19 at the time, which is impossible if they were born any time in 9 ABY and it takes place in 27 ABY. If Anakin was born in late 10 ABY he'd still be 17 in early 28 ABY.
Missing jedi....
The article says that Mr Dark Forces himself, Kyle Katarn was in Star by Star, having just finished I can only say ug? Did I miss a chapter or two or is my hero absent from the book? - If anyone can inform me of the where abouts of my missing character then talk to me at [[1]]
Apart from lack of Katarn-age I enjoyed the read...well actually more the plot, Troy Denning can certainly write it's just I felt they gave him to much plot to work with. We've had two books preceding where the relationship between Anakin and Tahiri has blossomed and yet we're saved the inner-workings of what happens post Edge of Victory series.
I also agree with the applauds for Borsk Fey'lya's death, not sorry to see him go but almost proud of the furry swine’s departure, a Bothan actually worth saluting!
Matt.
Yeah i read it too. No Kyle in it.-Random
- In early versions of the novel, Kyle Katarn was slated to be killed off, but Anakin and Borsk were killed off so Lucasarts would be free to do whatever they wanted with Kyle in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Liberi Fatali37 01:57, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Audiobook abridgement
I was thinking about starting articles specifically about the audiobooks with details regarding their abridgement. I spend at least three hours a day in the car and listen to a lot of audiobooks. I just finished Star by Star, and was shocked to discover they skipped over the entire invasion of Coruscant! <sarcasm>Just a minor detail, I'm sure</sarcasm>. Anyway, since it's unlikely they're going to produce unabridged audiobooks, I thought about making a resource for people who want to know what they missed.
