Reference to SWG: Trials of Obi-Wan

No one talking about the fact that this weapon looks exactly like the disruptor rifle from SWG: Trials of Obi-Wan? It has to be a nod to it, I vaguely recall the same thing being said in SWG about disruptor rifles as they say in this Star Wars Rebel episode as well where it's featured. That it was banned by the senate etc. Unsigned comment by Hendar Gahn (talk • contribs)

  • If you can confirm that these existed in that source, then we can add a note about how this was based on the SWG weapon. But until then, we can't do anything based on vague recollections. Be sure to post here if you find anything! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:20, October 25, 2014 (UTC)
  • I can't for the actual quote regarding the senate, as I can't find references to it anywhere other than I recall it being said in either a Kashyyyk quest or a Mustafar quest. I can verify that the weapon looks the same however as the SWG Disruptor rifle. They have different names of course, the one in SWG called the Coynite Disruptor Rifle and this one is called T-7 ion disruptor, they do have some differences but minor. Otherwise you can clearly see where they got the design from by looking at the images below. Unsigned comment by Hendar Gahn (talk • contribs)
    • Six years later, but I added the SWG disruptor's image to the "Behind the Scenes" section. They're almost identical, as you can clearly see.--Valiran (talk) 05:42, April 23, 2020 (UTC)

  • I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. Obviously based on the SWG weapon. If I find any details about the SWG weapon, I'll post it here. StarsiderSWG (talk) 22:13, December 5, 2014 (UTC)

t-7's turned over to Organ?!

I'm pretty sure the article is wrong- the t-7's weren't delivered to Organa. some of them were taken by Visago ("I don't pay for half a shipment!" or w/e as he runs away) and the other half were blown up by R2-D2 and Sabine by overloading somedoohicky... and then shoving them under one of the chicken walkers.

The scene at the end of the of the episode is Organa paying for the return of his droids, not the rifles. 12:34, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

Use in ANH

Anyone else get the feeling that, given how the horrific nature of a T-7's victims was played up, that these (or the T-8 the empire was working on) were what was used on Owen and Beru Lars? Mithril (talk) 03:03, September 29, 2018 (UTC)

Its certainly possible.--Hulk10 (talk) 03:47, September 29, 2018 (UTC)
