It is Canon

T-47 Airspeeders are playable in Star Wars Battlefront on the Tatooine and Jakku maps for "Walker Assault". Therefore, they are sandspeeders, and officially part of the new canon. 7:49 PM; April 11, 2019; User:Ghost of LucasArts

  • At the risk of sounding pedantic, are we sure those are actually sandspeeders? I'm not sure a T-47 airspeeder automatically becomes a sandspeeder just because it's flying over sand. Judging from this article, sandspeeders appear to have a very specific color scheme and modifications; if these details aren't present for the Battlefront vehicles you're referring to, I wouldn't just assume they're sandspeeders. • That is exactly why I didn't consider the T-47s in Battlefront's Battle of Jakku to be sandspeeders, as they look exactly like the standard snowspeeders that are available in other maps. Although Leland Chee has stated that there is a little bit of continuity going on there, I still wouldn't count them as sandspeeders.
