I know we don't like to change things until they are confirmed but this site is using Simon Kinberg's words about the length of the season as confirmation. That's fine but then this page should only list 14 episodes. Simon said there were 16 and he said he wrote the first two and the last. I think it's safe to assume that was before they made Spark of Rebellion a TV movie since he wrote those "two episodes" and not Droids in Distress or Fighter Flight.
Is Spark of Rebellion part of the season?
StarWars.com is referring to "Droids in Distress" as the season premiere in the site's banner, the episode guide and in the new Rebels Recon video. Adamwankenobi (talk) 02:51, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
- SW.com has referred to Spark of Rebellion as Episode 1 for over a week now. See also: Greg Weisman's tweet to me here. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:54, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
Spark of Rebellion separate from the normal episodes
So according to Matt Martin, Manager of Digital Content and Community Relations at Lucasfilm, Spark of Rebellion is its own separate thing, and isn't episode one of the actual show. The website has been updated with this new information, and now lists Droids in Distress as episode one (Spark of Rebellion is still listed as episode one as well, however we know that it's separate from the normal episodes).

I assume we'll update the listing to accommodate these changes? Cevan (talk) 21:11, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
The truth about the amount of episodes in Season 1 of Star Wars Rebels
My friends, it appears Matt Martin of LFL clarified how many episodes of Rebels are in Season 1. The 4 shorts are the first episode, Sparknof Rebellion are episodes 2 and 3, and then are 13 more regular episodes left in Season 1 starting with "Droids in Distress" and Empire Day is episode nine of Star Wars Rebels. So, I think the Season One page has to have 16 episodes changed to 13 episodes for how many episodes Season One contains. Don't believe me? - "From a production standpoint" means that they are production numbers. Those are different from episode numbers. Episode numbers are reflected on StarWars.com, and on Star Wars Rebels: Season One. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 02:14, November 17, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, but the first season of Rebels is actually 13, not 16 episodes, so this technically something that must be taken note of. I'm sure of it. --100.1.188.167 02:35, November 17, 2014 (UTC)A.P.
- While I think you're right, there hasn't been an official source to clarify this just yet. When the season finale does come around, or when someone does comment something definitive about the matter, we'll be able to change it. Until then, we should stick with the 16 episode source Kinberg gave us. --Dentface (talk) 01:06, January 13, 2015 (UTC)

Season One Poster
Now that the Season Two page has the big poster as its header image, can someone find the Season One poster in good enough quality to put as the header for this page?
Star Wars Rebels: The Ultimate Guide
Should Star Wars Rebels: The Ultimate Guide be included as an episode on this page?
Episode numbers
For whatever reason, SW.com seems to be inconsistent with Season One's episode numbering. The individual episode guides claim that Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion is a one-hour movie, with "Droids in Distress" being episode one, and "Fire Across the Galaxy" being number thirteen. However, as Dr. Porter pointed out, this page lists Spark of Rebellion as episode one, "Droids in Distress" as episode three, etc. The Season One home release seems to agree with the episode guides, so I think that's the option we should use. Thoughts? - Cwedin(talk) 06:25, March 26, 2017 (UTC)
- So you're saying the home release agrees with the season one episode guides? -- Dr. Porter

- Scratch that, actually. From glancing at the home release page, I thought so, but looking at the actual SW.com posts and my physical copy, there are 15 episodes. Case closed. - Cwedin(talk) 06:34, March 26, 2017 (UTC)
- Phew. The consistency is saved! -- Dr. Porter

Descriptions
After discussing this topic on the Forces of Destiny discussion page, it has come to light that S1 of Rebels is the only series page on Wookieepedia that contains descriptions underneath the episode names on the episode list. I think that it would be appropriate for the sake of continuity throughout pages that these descriptions be removed. Any thoughts?--Benjay2345 (talk) 20:57, July 5, 2017 (UTC)
- Unless someone is going to go through the other series and add them then I feel its best to just go ahead and remove them --Lewisr (talk) 20:59, July 5, 2017 (UTC)
- I agree with this thinking. It be lots of work for the sake of continuity to add them to other ones when this page's descriptions could just be removed.--Benjay2345 (talk) 21:00, July 5, 2017 (UTC)
