Film?

Looking at the amazon page it doesn't outright state that this is a film so are we sure it's a film and not a few episodes of the first season? DarthRevan1173 RevanTOR001 (Long live Lord Revan) 23:59, August 13, 2014 (UTC)

  • We know, through unconfirmed reports, that it's a "film" of the series' one-hour premiere episode. Take the use of the word "film" in the template and categorization loosely. That's more accurate than categorizing it under "future episodes," which I'm assuming is what you're getting at. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:03, August 14, 2014 (UTC)
  • I understand that "film" is termed loosely, but I think this should be under the "TV" category due to the fact it is a TV movie. Direct-to-video films on the other hand, i.e. "Droids: Treasure of the Hidden Planet", could be considered "film". 70.197.228.236 04:07, August 21, 2014 (UTC)

dvd release date

  • No. Our practice is to list release dates according to what was officially publicized, even though items (which includes books and magazines as well) frequently hit stores early. In this case, the announced release date is October 14. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:00, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

Clarification

So the Darth Vader scene hasn't been added to any other versions (DVD, iTunes, etc.) after the ABC airing, correct? 121.219.175.235 08:51, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

It's been added to every version except the DVD, which is impossible to add it to until they release it with the season one Blu-Ray. Cevan (talk) 11:58, December 10, 2014 (UTC)

Infobox

With the recent decision to consider the premieres as two part episodes, should we change the infobox from a film one to a television one to accommodate this change? Queenie 03:23, April 17, 2017 (UTC)

    • I'm glad we're on the same page. Will we also keep the page title as "Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion" or do we change it to simply "Spark of Rebellion," per the other episodes? Queenie 06:48, April 17, 2017 (UTC)
