Credits
Credits are different in Galaxies than in Star Wars cannon proper, right? If so, what is the 'exchange rate'? Or what does something like a TIE or a Y wing cost in Galaxies? Or something else that already has a cannon pricetag? —Unsigned comment by Countmall (talk • contribs)
- They are not different. They are the same credits. However, inflation has pushed prices through the roof over time and where most everything that is at least a little rare can cost over a million credits. This is typical in a MMORPG. Prices for items in SWG can vary wildly depending on the economy of the particular server and what that particular player thinks their item is worth. There is no exchange rate. From a canon standpoint, its best to just ignore what players will pay other players for items. OLIOSTER (talk) 12:18, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
- All right, thanks. I was just wondering if I could get an accurate cannon pricing for item from Galaxies, but I guess not. Thanks! --The Great and Grand Count Mall! 17:26, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Closure
All Galaxies servers going to be shut down. How does it affect the reliability of any related articles? How can the information from Galaxies be checked? Is there any chance to create some kind of off-line non-official single-player version of the game or maybe non-officion, non-profit, fan-committee-sponsored server? Will the game be lost forever? - Best thing to do would be to document as much information during these last 5 months as possible. StarsiderSWG 14:52, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm doing my best to document images and info on as much of the equipment as I possibly can. So, if some other people were able to save information and images on the locations, characters and events of the game we could likely get most of the info we need.--Exiled Jedi

- I've got tons of screenshots, so I'll do the best I can. Right now I'm mostly starting with the characters. StarsiderSWG 15:54, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
- Right now I have around 120 screenshots of equipment with more to come soon.--Exiled Jedi

Character Stubs
It seems that many of the articles about NPC characters within Star Wars Galaxies are merely stubs, usually having just a sentence about how they were alive during the Galactic Civil War. I'm going to try adding more information to such pages, but there are just far too many such articles for me to do by myself. Is anyone else interested in doing this, as well? -LOTRfan06 23:29, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
- There is a forum discussing Star Wars Galaxies articles and what needs to be done to expand and create articles before the game shuts down here.--Exiled Jedi

Appearances
Could strike throughs be replaced by a different notation? The names are not easy to read. If yes, then I'll get to it one day. Red Heathen (talk) 09:19, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
article Section Flags
The article says:
- Star Wars Galaxies#Development and release ‡
- ==Development and release {{SectionFlag}}==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Story and setting ‡
- ==Story and setting {{SectionFlag}}==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Gameplay and features ‡
- ==Gameplay and features {{SectionFlag}}==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Releases, expansions and updates ‡
- ==Releases, expansions and updates {{SectionFlag}}==
- A ‡ signifies a character, location, event, etc. that originated from a source other than Star Wars Galaxies or its expansions. This is used in place of applying the {{1st}} template to new content.
Should it say:
- Star Wars Galaxies#Development and release
- ==Development and release==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Story and setting
- ==Story and setting==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Gameplay and features
- ==Gameplay and features==
- Star Wars Galaxies#Releases, expansions and updates
- ==Releases, expansions and updates==
or do the ‡ Section Flags ‡ have some additional meaning/coding/purpose, and the bit about Sources should use a different type of "asterisk"?

- Any section header that does not comply with the out-of-universe Layout Guide will be section flagged. This means, that as a disallowed section, the content within those sections needs to be properly rearranged within the allowed sections manually by someone. There's no need to change any other symbol on the page, as it's a temporary flag that's likely to be resolved soon.—spookywillowwtalk 23:55, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
