Marek
Is LucasArts bringing back Marek somehow? Sith don't normally use blue lightsabers so maybe he's back.--KnightNapier 02:18, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
- Well it seems that you get to choose your path. It also seems that we might have lightsaber options like 1 lightsaber, 2 lightsaber, etc.--Uasp Erbomee
Netherworld
Could this possibility be the Netherworld of the Force? The trailer and details in the article share important characteristics. Even if you dont have an answer, but an opinion, please feel free to state it! It'll most likely be a while until more useful info on the game is released. --Darth shohet 04:08, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

- He could be in Wonderland as far as we know. Why do you have to speculate? Are you expecting some type of award for being right or wrong? Why can't you just wait for LucasArts to release the information? If you want to speculate, go to a forum. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 16:59, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
- My point was that the article should not state where he is without any source. Since that was fixed, there is no loger any problem. --Darth shohet 03:36, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
- Your original post and your second post ("Sorry!") tell me that your motive was indeed to discuss speculation rather than what you're claiming now. The article didn't mention anything about the setting at the time of your original post, so I'm not sure what problem you claim had been fixed. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 04:17, December 16, 2009 (UTC)
- Yes it clearly did at that time. You simply must have missed it. Under Galen Marek's character description, it stated he was on an unknown planet. We did not and do not know where he was in the trailer, let alone whether or not he was on a planet. --Darth shohet 00:57, December 17, 2009 (UTC)

- If you pay attention during the trailer, when Galen emerged from the hallway, you can hear (pretty clearly, actually) spectators screaming and cheering at him, which supports his location as being some kind of arena. Whistler 01:18, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Will The Force Unleashed II take place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back? AdamDeanHall 00:29, December 14, 2009 (UTC)

Could the "Huge-Beast" be a Tyrant Rancor?
The huge guy could be a Tyrant Rancor. It looks like a massive version of a Bull Rancor and a Tyrant Rancor only has the info "Tyrant rancors were rancors of gargantuan proportions." Any thoughts? --ShadowDragonTam 20:15, December 15, 2009 (UTC)
- Seems more apeish than a rancor. Uasp Erbomee
With the Dark Side in full control of the Galaxy during this era, it is very natural to see a Terentatek return. Perfect way to have one reappear in the SW Universe is to have one in a HD video game such as The Force Unleashed II. right|thumb|150px|Terentatek 132.32.201.9 07:38, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, yeah. The extinct Terentatek is going to come back after 4000 years. Please obey the guidelines, and cut out unnecessary speculation. Darth Brain 23:59, March 20, 2010 (UTC)
I belive that the "Huge-Beast" is another bull rancor.Darth Doombringer 19:34, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
Lets get this straight. We do not know what it is, except that it is currently confirmed to not a be a rancor or any type. The official Facebook page has a picture of it with a caption "Too big to be a Rancor...." Kermit the Frog(Complain.) 19:56, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Uhm...I'm not sure I just picked the friendliest cantina to step into...but as of the June 2010 issue of GameInformer magazine, it says that the giant Rancor-throwing creature is a "Gorog". Hope that clears up any confusion.Xx19FallenFromGracexx 23:01, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Sam Witwer?
Where is the evidence that Sam Witwer returns as Galen Marek? The source doesn't say anything about it. -TrandoshanMan01 20:33, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
- His likeness is used. That's enough to say that he returns for now, since he didn't speak in the trailer, and that's all we have to go on right now.--LastJedi1515 (talk)
21:40, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
- is it stated anywhere that his likeness is used? the character (though it is fairly obvious it's Galen) looks noticeably different when compared with Galen from TFU Tyranitar 17:50, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
- If it looks like Galen then it looks like Sam Witwer.--LastJedi1515 (talk)
01:10, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
- not necersarily, it only looks similar to Galen. It looks a little too 'cartoonish' in the trailer to really resemble Sam Witwer Tyranitar 13:30, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
The press release confirms that it is Galen, so Sam Witwer will portray and voice him. Please cut out the unnecessary speculation. Darth Brain 00:02, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
Assumptions
I feel like it is more of a after world something, but to the first comment, he's not a Sith anymore. And I have a feeling that the two lightsabers were just for the roman numerals.
One more thing. At the beginning, there's Yoda's voice saying the death is a natural part of life, which gives the assumption that he died.—Unsigned comment by Skywalker130 (talk • contribs)

They could have had Yoda say that to emphasize that Galen has broken the natural order of the Force.--DK743 02:14, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
The Emperor was cloned in canon hence jedi can be cloned
Timeline
Shouldnţt we put the timeline between 2-0 bby?as it's stated that it's the sequel to TFU and that the action it's between revenge of the sith(19BBY) and a new hope(0BBY-0ABY),you just need some basic maths to find the timeline
Not to break the rules but I think he never died on the death star.--Sangheili wunna be 01:06, February 7, 2010 (UTC)
I think I'm asking this question a little late, but is there any solid proof that TFU2 takes place 1 year after the first game? Just wondering FireWing 18:18, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
It takes place 6 months after TFU and has been said many times--SUP3RCHUBBY 22:39, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
Infinities Timeline
If I'm not mistaken, is this what qualifies as an infinities timeline? I believe the definition of such a thing involves a single event with a pivotal change (i.e. the canon ending of Starkiller choosing to fight the Emperor, rather than joining him and killing Vader).
I'm given to understand that this is what has happened, although I could be mistaken. If it is true, does TFU II qualify? Mad Jax 17:37, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
- To know that, we would need a litle more than just a trailer and a online statement. Maybe the canon conflicts will be solved by the time the game comes out. We will have to wait. Gulomi Jomesh 17:44, March 28, 2010 (UTC)
I'm guessing no. Anakin was conceived by the will of the Force, so who's to say Galen wasn't resurrected the same way? -- 06:22, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with Darth Nexu. If he was the real Galen he would already have the memories from his life. A clone, on the other hand, wouldn't have memories from galen's life unless expiramented on.--SUP3RCHUBBY 19:02, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Ok.--SUP3RCHUBBY
- There are so much storage capacity in the DNS, that there are some old teories about the DNS storing memories. It is the base of the Dune books. So a clone Galen remembering his non-clone life is not baseless. Or maybe he quicklearned the events of his earlier life, but a psyhical shock (his death) blokked them. The clone of Isard also had hes memories before the cloning. There is no point against Galen being a clone with his original memories. Darth Morrt 17:34, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

Combat style
How is Jar'kai with a reverse shien grip a more realistic style of combat? I train in swords and other weapons and I'm not saying it's not possible, because I've done it. Its just extremely hard. but the single saber shien combat from the first one seems more realistic than this. I don't mean to tick people off but that is just my take on it. jedi_master425
I dont think he actually uses a both-back hand Jar'Kai style in combat. In the E3 trailer he only does that when hes normally running/walking (except he kinda did when he effortlessly kills the hapless stormtrooper in the first room) and fights normally in the last fight in the trailer. Thats what i've seen so far so that my observation FireWing 20:21, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
A few points for jedi_master425: 1) Lightsabers don't work the same way normal swords do; They don't have weight (except the hilts), so it would take virtually no effort to maneuver them, so long as you keep in mind that they cut from any direction. 2) Starkiller is a highly-trained, extremely powerful Force-user, so he could probably do all sorts of things regular humans can't. 3) It's Star Wars, and a video game. It's completely fictional, and not entirely realistic on it's best day (no sound in space, for example), so a little suspension of disbelief isn't a big leap of faith. Don't mean to preach, but I just don't like people who complain about this sort of thing. DeCarta 2:20, July 24, 2010
Yes, DeCarta, I know ALL of this. But you have to remember too that they said MORE REALISTIC and I said it was possible. And lightsaber combat is derived from kendo and fencing. And I wasn't complaining about it I personally think its cool. I was just saying it doesn't seem more realistic than the first one. jedi_master425 11:40, July 24,2010
I also want to chime in on this note. I also have done sword fighting, specifically iajutsu which is a form of katana martial arts, as well as knife fighting in kenpo. I was to address DeCarta on this one. It's less about the weight of the blade, or superhuman skill. It's the fact that a back-handed grip is used for two reasons: concealment against the side of the arm and strike deflection. Otherwise it's looked at as being amateurish to hold a knife that way, let alone a sword made out of glowing energy. This is because a backhanded grip limits your strike angles, but with one blade, at least you can pull a switch by using the other hand (like Starkiller does in the first game). However, using two swords, BOTH with a backhanded grip, means you have even more reduced striking capability, and look like a doofus. Noting to FireWing, yes, in the trailer he switches around to both sabers facing forwards, and he probably does it in game. But if you notice in the trailers, whenever he does switch from back hand to normal grip, 'its off screen'. So, I think this is more proof that videogame designers don't have practical sword knowledge. Just try it on a toy lightsaber, even the FX ones. It's not like twirling a baton or a drumstick. (Tl:dr, it's not realistic, it's shoddy game design choices in a game i'm otherwise excited about.) Darkq1
Thank you Darkq1 for not being the only one besides me that thinks thats a major flaw. Im excited about the game too. I just felt the need to point out that little thing. jedi_master425

Holodroids
In one of the more recent visions, it shows multiple holodroids which take on the form of (at least one) rebel footsoldier, and, more importantally, juno eclipse. At the moment she is shown the clone galen hits the cloning tank glass with his fist, as vader had said that he must learn to hate what his former self had loved. Shouldn't this, along with more info from the visions, be put into the article, maybe even in a new section, because this vision seemed important, as it generated a physical response from clone marek? 68.48.190.172 03:18, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Kota and cloning
Uh yeah, the article says that Kota says that Jedi and Sith can't be cloned, did someone just insert that there, or is that real? It doesn't really make much sense when you consider that there have been quite a few Jedi/Sith clonesUltrabountyhunter 07:04, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
It may not make sense but he says that in one of the visions on the force unleashed 2 official website--SUP3RCHUBBY 13:50, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
But we know that jedi and sith can be cloned. I mean palpatine was cloned, Luke was cloned, Jorus C'baoth was cloned, and not to mention the clones Jaden Korr fought. jedi_master425
well thats what he said--SUP3RCHUBBY 18:43, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- I think Kota meant that no Jedi or Sith could not be cloned "successfully". Almost every clone created from a Jedi went insane, including Luuke Skywalker and Joruus C'Baoth. Palpatine's clones can not count because they did not have a mind of their own, they were taken over by Palpatine's "spirit" as soon as they were out of the tank. VadersFist666 20:16, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- And in Starkiller's case, hes having memories of a life that the clone didnt live and hes confused, for the very least. However, i have a question regarding that, do u think the orginal Galen's power is decreased in the clone at all? Because i would like to think that it would make sense if it is, even slightly, in that case FireWing 20:26, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
I dont think so because I watched the E3 trailer and he seemned pretty powerful--SUP3RCHUBBY 11:55, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Well all I'm saying is that he didn't seem to be weaker than the origonal.--SUP3RCHUBBY 14:10, July 9, 2010 (UTC) I'd like to note that Joruus C'Boath, Luuke Skywalker, and Palpatine were all either cloned after or kept in hiding until after this game takes place. as far as Kota knows, it's never been done.98.27.213.72 02:42, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
Ok, so he doesn't know about them, fair enough, but what's his basis for assuming that you can't clone Jedi?Ultrabountyhunter 03:23, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
- The fact it has never been done (at least from knowledge he has) is probably his basis. --67.187.26.29 04:02, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
But its not really much of a basis, is it? You could claim that all of the Roonan Jedi were killed during Order 66 because none of them ever show up, that doesn't make it true.Ultrabountyhunter 08:09, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
Last i read the implication was that a Jedi or Sith of Marek's potential can't be cloned, which works in the context of Star Wars. Marek has proven to be very powerful, defeating Jedi (including a council member), Vader and pulling a Star Destroyer from orbit. Sidious thought he could be his equal, a title he previously reserved only for Anakin Skywalker, who Lucas said had the potential to be twice as powerful as Sidious. I’d say Marek has the potential to be more powerful then Sidious, but not as powerful as pre-cyborg Anakin. Which makes sense. Joruus C'Boath was not as strong as Sidious and Luuke's Force power is questionable, as he was born in a force-vacuum among ysalamir and was just a puppet/avatar for C'Boath. Meanwhile, when Sidious tries to clone himself, he finds that the new body cant handle the Force power and becomes unstable.Ironreaper 04:09, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
subject 1138
On one of the medical entrys (Entry 77 I think) on The Force Unleashed 2 offficial site it says something about a Subject 1138 and I wondered what is Subject 1138?--SUP3RCHUBBY 18:16, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
Subject 1138 is the Galen you play in SWFU2. It is the 1138th clone produced. --Revan's Exile 04:18, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
- This is incorrect. 1157 is the clone on the website. 1138 is the designation given to Galen Marek halfway through the original TFU. SinisterSamurai 17:16, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
Clone vs. original Galen Marek
I was watching the newest visions on the TFU2 official site and I had an idea. In the E3 trailer we saw lots of clones of Galen Marek. This made me think that the hooded character in one of the visions is a clone of Galen sent to find Galen.--SUP3RCHUBBY 12:09, July 14, 2010 (UTC)
Reverted edits
I reverted edits yesterday because it seemed to be fanon (and unsourced). In actuality, its information from the Gamestop exclusive content. Although it should definitely not go in the main article, would such information go in the bts? Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 13:09, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
Maulkiller
Maulkiller is GameStop exclusive in-game skin with silver saber crystal. What He looks like: http://www.gamestop.com/gs/images/bonus/maulKillerPose_bonusLG.jpg
- Maulkiller's story - In the cloning facilities of Kamino, Darth Vader created a warrior of unparalleled strength and power by combining the genetic material of Darth Maul, former apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Sidious, with his own apprentice, Starkiller. The resulting aberrant clone possessed traits from both warriors, but the crude fusion of two disparate Force users quickly produced physical and mental instabilities that led to the unfortunate clone’s destruction. For a brief time he struck fear into the hearts of all who faced him, even Lord Vader himself.
- Maulkiller's Silver Saber Crystal – The perfect companion to the Maulkiller costume, the silver crystals make his dual lightsabers look like an extension of the silver Zabrac styled tattoos that cover his body and face. This powerful crystal allows the player to consume less Force Energy when using Force Powers so that he can devastate his enemies.
