Well, I disagree with the deletion of this page, as these gunships DID exist as some LAAT/i gunshps had sliding doors that didn't cover all of the trooper bays, because, why otherwise would Venator-class Star Destroyers have to enter atmosphere, references to that are at least in Attack of the clones, Liberty on Ryloth, Jedi Crash and more, LAATs weren't always mentioned as "LAAT"s they were commonly called "gunships" no matter the rating: LAAT/i, LAAT/c etc. So this exact variant mightn't've been specifically mentioned. on the other hand, the name is LAAT, LOW altitude assault transport, so how could it function in HIGH altidude, let alone space. I recommend renaming the article from "LAAT/space gunship" to just: "space gunship" thanks, Skyguy007 Skyguy007 06:22, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
- Then you can change the deletion template to {{Holdon}} and leave a message for JMAS, the one who placed the deletion template in the first place. 1358 (Talk) 06:38, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
Star Wars Battlefront 2
In that game, in space battles, Republic used LAAT's as transport ship and mobile respawn points, for boarding enemy ships. LAAT's can't fly in space - and it definitely doesn't look like MAAT - so it's likely to be Space Gunship. 95.71.91.148 10:45, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
