  • Okay, clearly the images of Zonder and of a Selonian here are completely different, so either the thing there (which looks like a ravenous otter) isn't a Selonian, or Zonder isn't a Selonian (where does it say he is anyway?). I suppose it could just be a difference in artistry, considering the image of the Selonian is from an issue of Star Wars Galaxy, which is now a fairly obscure magazine, so it's likely Thomas Hodges simply didn't know about it and interpreted the description of a Selonian in the Corellian Trilogy differently than Joe Jusko (the Galaxy artist). Hmm...well I suppose I just answered my own question. But if I'm wrong, can anyone cite where Zonder's called a Selonian? MarcK 17:29, 12 Sep 2005 (UTC)
    • He is a confirmed Selonian. It's simply the difference of Jedi training, an individualistic lifestyle, being a fertile male, as opposed to an infertile female, and a very diffent art style.--Erl 20:39, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

tilt your head a bit and he looks alot like a selonian

There seem to be several Selonian styles, most artists take liberties with the general "musteline" (weasel-like) guideline. I would however, take the Dracmus illustration on this page to be more or less definitive, seeing as it does depict the most high-profile selonian and the only main character that is one.

  • Aren't Selonians feline or are they more like a minks? And aren't minks feline too?--Aggrajag 09:48, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
    • No minks are mustelids too. Sochwa 15:05, August 30, 2011 (UTC)

Also:

I would note that the walking-weasel style is the one in the official datebank entry on the Star Wars site.

Lifespan and culture

Is there any information on their general lifespans, or more on their culture? --DrizztxGuen 02:38, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, the article is still pretty underdeveloped, but you should be able to find that sort of information from the books listed under "Sources." I would particularly recommend Ultimate Alien Anthology if you are interested in lifespan, but the others should have information on their culture too. ~ SavageBob 03:24, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
Thank you, I will. I'm trying to create a canonical Selonian RP character. --DrizztxGuen 03:48, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

Should the Afarathu be counted as a member? They were a group, NOT an individual. 174.111.248.121 19:54, April 3, 2013 (UTC)
