What's with the "Obi-wan kills Darth Maul" image? It looks like it's from a comic! C Teng 23:06, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Expansion

If you want, I can update the article to include much more information from the game Battle for Naboo. Corellian Premier 20:33, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Duel in Theed

I think the duel should have an individual article, considereing we have articles on almost every other movie duel. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is a lie) 10:33, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Agreed, we should speedy Duel on Naboo (Invasion of Naboo) and make Duel on Naboo a proper article instead of redirect to this page. Mauser 10:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Name?

Where is it called "Recapture of Theed Palace" ? Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 15:45, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

Aftermath

Shouldn't the aftermath mention Darth Maul's survival?

Maul being Force-pushed down the shaft

Would it be acceptable to remove all mention of Obi-Wan Force pushing Maul into the shaft given that it did not happen in the film where Maul simply tumbles down after being sliced in two? All other references to the games are fine of course since they could've taken place offscreen while the attention was on one of the other battle sequences (Obi-Wan fighting through the battle droids and working his way back up to Qui-Gon and Maul's level for example) but we specifically see Maul fall down the pit immediately after Obi-Wan struck him at the waist and was not Force-pushed. • I think it's fine as is. The games add additional details, and are valid canon resources. As long as there's a note in the BTS, the info should stay. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 14:49, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
  • It is not fine as it did not happen in the film, therefore it is non-canon and should be removed. Revan4000 15:43, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
  • I never claimed Wookieepedia was a movie purism site, nor did I say the Obi-Wan video game for the X-Box (or any Star Wars game for that matter) was non-canon. All I said was Maul simply tumbled into the pit in the movie and was not Force-pushed down like in the Obi-Wan game. In other words, that particular part of the game is non-canon, not the whole game. It is clearly stated on every other page related to the confrontation with Maul that he fell down the pit like in the movie, not Force-pushed into it like in the game. Do keep in mind there are other games that are considered canon in one form or another that have moments deemed non-canon, such as Rebel Assault, where Rookie One destroys the Death Star rather than Luke, just moments like these that contradict what we saw in the movies are non-canonical, not the entire game. I've already given it a copy-edit. What else needs done to it? Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 19:29, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
