Sariss' Mother
I have a pet theory that her mother was a Dathomir Witch. Gothymog 15:12, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Sariss' death
I've added some info on Sariss' death. The source is Dietz' novella Dark Forces: Jedi Knight. Any objections? KEJ 11:21, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- As in Boc's case, the death of Sariss occures during gameplay so you can kill her whatever manner you like. I think the novel tries to establish the canon. Since in games, the gameplay (as well as some stats and other details) is considered non-canon, the novel must be considered superior MoffRebus 12:44, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)
For what it's worth, the Dark Forces article says Kyle stabs her through the heart soon after she kills Yun. The article came after the novel, making its information closer to canon than the novel. Now, of course, I have no idea what the Flowing Water Cut is, but if it's a stab through the heart it's probably canon. If not... Demented Smiloid 21:48, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The Flowing Water Cut is an ancient lightsaber counterattack technique in which a person's lightsaber blade passes through an opponent's blade like water and stabs the opponent in the chest but the fact is that Sariss somehow managed to survive after Kyle defeated her and left her for dead because her arm was still moving. After she recovered, she never went back to serving Jerec or The Empire again.
- Where does it say that she survived? Personally, I find it impressive that she'd survive a stab through the heart with a lightsaber. KEJ 08:14, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- It says that he stabbed her through the chest, which of course could imply that he stabbed her through the heart as well. KEJ 09:04, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Anyway, the Dark Forces article incorporates a lot of things from the novellas, suggesting that it takes these as a canonic source KEJ 16:03, 2 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Sariss and Yun
- Again, the relationship between Sariss and Yun is taken from the novella. I don't think it should be removed, but could be placed under "Behind the scenes", as it does add an interesting dimension to Sariss' character.

Sariss in the CCG
I was just wondering how we know that the "Prophetess" on the CCG card is actually Sariss? This should probably be noted in the Behind the scenes section, since her name is not on the card. --Azizlight 23:51, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Retcon established in Abel G Pena's Dark Forces Saga articles. QuentinGeorge 04:47, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Shouldn't that retcon maneuver be mentioned in 'Behind the scenes', and shouldn't the image of the card be moved down into that section? KEJ 09:52, 4 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- The picture on the card should stay in the main article, since it shows her looks around the time of ANH (alternately, take a screencap of the scene and use that, since the image would undoubtably be clearer.) VT-16 16:20, 8 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Not necessarily. Decipher regularly used computer enhancement and reference photography to depict characters that couldn't be seen clearly on screen. But if anyone can find a clear shot of her in the film, more power to you.--Valin Kenobi 14:47, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- KEJ's idea makes sense, since the actual card is OOU, it belongs in the "Behind the scenes" section. And Valin is probably right in that we won't find a better pic. Going to move the card image now. --Azizlight 08:00, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- If we can find or make a better image, we'd probably be better off; Decipher has some rather strict card use rules. jSarek 10:04, 11 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- Ouch. How about deleting the image entirely and adding an external link directly to the card on Decipher's site? I.e. Decipher CCG card for Prophetess--Valin Kenobi 06:34, 12 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Rahn's Quote
I've been adding Qu Rahn's assessments for each Dark Jedi on their respective pages, and I was pleased to see that Sariss's page already has it listed. However, the description supplied here is slightly different than the one I have heard in my game. The description listed here reads:
"Out of all the Dark Jedi I have met, Sariss is the one I can say, I fear. Powerful, strong in both the physical and mental arenas of the Force, she is a master, a perfectionist, quiet and reserved as well as a fatal beauty. This makes her a very dangerous foe both seductive and attractive."
Whereas, the introduction in my American game goes this way:
"Out of all the Dark Jedi I have met, Sariss is the one I can say I fear. Powerful, strong in both the physical and mental arenas of the Force, she is a master, a perfectionist, quiet and reserved. This makes her a very dangerous foe."
Now, the only real difference I see is that the version posted already mentions terms of attraction like "fatal beauty", "seductive", and "attractive". Does this Rahn assessment appear in one of the novellas? Is it what is included in the British version of the game? Because, if it does have an established source, then we should keep it. If it's just something that somebody tacked on, however...
- The quote that was here seems to have been taken from IMDB, and Google search points to yours more often. The one here doesn't even make grammatical sense ("quiet and reserved as well as a fatal beauty"?), so I think it's something someone made up for IMDB. For future reference, you can sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~), and preferably post new sections in discussions at the bottom of the page. - Lord Hydronium 10:10, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- What? How could you tell I was new here? :-) But thanks for the info. BaronGrackle 10:34, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- No problem, and welcome to Wookieepedia. - Lord Hydronium 10:48, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- No one else seems to have much comment on this, so I'm going to go ahead and edit the description quote to the version I've heard in the game. If disagreements come up later, then we still have the alternative here in the discussion. BaronGrackle 16:00, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Holiday Special
Adamwankenobi just added that she appeared in the HS. I assume it was via reused ANH footage?--Valin Kenobi 05:55, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'd like to know too. KEJ 10:05, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
