AN EXPLANATION
I think that Sam is indeed Palowik, becuase anyway, do you know of another species which looks like that? I mean most of the aliens in the backround of this chapter, are pretty much all species that were in the movies. —Unsigned comment by 174.49.50.230 (talk • contribs) 23:43, July 16, 2009 (UTC)
- Yes which is why the article says that. Chack Jadson (Talk) 23:48, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just relized that. —Unsigned comment by 174.49.50.230 (talk • contribs) 23:48, July 16, 2009 (UTC)

Not to be taken as serious
This character looks like he is just a funny background character with no real relation to anything. I do not think he should be taken with such seriousness to say he may be Sy Snootles's brother or anything, most of the things in this Clone Wars series were pretty silly so an Pa'lowick wearing a tie and carrying a briefcase just goes to show me that the people that worked on the micro series were just wanting to carter to children. So where does it say that his name is Sam Snootles? Matt Seay (talk) 20:16, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
- If you're still waiting for a response, here it is: The name Sam Snootles is derived from the audio commentary from the DVD. Zakor1138 (talk) 04:07, November 15, 2012 (UTC)
- Hold it. Just because it is in a commentary does not make it canon. Look into the controversy with the conception of the Skywalker twins. Their was some joking around that they had brought Padme and Anakin together on that night in the commentary for the same series. However, people have pointed out that it has some complications and is a Behind the Scenes thing. His name probably can't really be Sam or Snootles. Wookieepedia takes things too literally at times, and are always searching to see if something is or is not a joke when it is obvious. Come on. And the micro series wasn't too bad. It was rather epic. They overdid some things, and didn't do others that they should have, and some of is non-canon. But the story is generally good. 99.188.36.80 17:05, June 8, 2013 (UTC)
- Please refer to the Wookieepedia:Canon policy before making judgements on what is considered canon and non-canon here on the Wookieepedia. You will find that the Wookieepedia is not a factor in deciding canon, but merely records it. Additionally, if the DVD commentary voiced by the creators states that the name is Sam Snootles, then, by gum, it is canon, and his name is Sam Snootles. If you have found a more recent contradicting canonical source that says his name is not Sam Snootles, then you have a case. —GethralkinHyperwave 05:40, June 28, 2013 (UTC)
