I saw a pic on the internet having Rosh as the same spiecies as Thrawn can you clarify this is a glitch or a edit to make Rosh look like this?

Age

If Rosh Penin was born in 14 BBY Rosh would be 28 years-old (correct me if I am wrong) but he doesn't look 28 (he looks like late teens-early/mid adult).

Death

Jaden Korr's name has shown up multiple times in post-JA sources (Fury, The Dark Forces Saga, etc.) Rosh Penin's, to my knowledge, never has. It seems pretty clear to me that Lucasfilm is keeping the question of whether Rosh survived ambiguous, in keeping with the ongoing ambiguity as to what actually happened in Jedi Academy. (Please don't argue that the fact that Jaden is Light Side in The Dark Forces Saga proves the Light Side ending canonical -- unless Leland Chee said so, it isn't. The *whole point* of the DS ending of JA is that Kyle is about to leave on a quest to redeem Jaden.)

I am therefore removing the reference to Rosh's death being "non-canonical". If the events of JA are clarified in a later work -- as may well happen in the untitled upcoming Jaden Korr novel -- then I will gladly reverse it.

If the developers of the game say that the lights side ending of the game is canonical then it is. so it really doesn't matter what Leland Chee says or not

I personally believe Rosh WAS killed, but not by Jaden. I could imagine him dying when Brakiss attacked the academy or during the Yuuzhan Vong War. I KNOW its just a fan fiction thought, but its MY explanation of why hes not around.

Orange-Bladed Lightsaber??

Where's the proof that he received an orange-bladed lightsaber? He never ignited his new lightsaber at the end of the game. I will remove this content from the article.

User:Jet Twilights

Multi-player has the Rosh model with a yellow blade. Thats all the source they need, I guess.

Future

Can we expect to see more of Rosh anytime soon I mean we don't know what happened to him after the game, but we do Jaden. I would personally like to know what happens to him.jedi_master425

A few questions on the article

Where's it said Rosh possessed a yellow-bladed saber? In the game files, it says the saber's called "training", and in the first cutscene he himself said that he was gonna get "one of those stupid training sabers", meaning those were given to all students before they could make their own (sabers).
If he's mentioned in Riptide, why is this info not present on here? How was he mentioned there exactly anyway?
Tavion ripped Jaden's saber out of his hand on Vjun? I always thought Jaden threw it himself, so as to create some kind of diversion for Kyle to attack Tavion and Rosh, or something like that...

In Riptide, Rosh is only mentioned in passing. Nothing more than the following sentence: "[Jaden Korr] had fought the spirit of Marka Ragnos on Korriban, trying to redeem Rosh Penin." As far as the rest is concerned, you're absolutely right: this article would benefit from a major overhaul. Why don't you have a go? :-) After all, this is a collaborative encyclopedia, and everyone is encouraged to be bold. ;-) --LelalMekha (talk) 18:09, April 10, 2015 (UTC)
