Vandalism

I don't know why, but this seems kind of like vandalism.

  • It's definitely not vandalism. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 15:15, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
  • What about this seems like vandalism? I just finished reading the book, and have been updating several items like the Black Squadron and Battle of Callos and what not, but confused as to why Rogue Shadow is locked. I read through it, and it seemed to be correct. What about this seemed like vandalism? Im requesting that this one be opened again, so at least someone can go in to update it a wee bit more. Influenced by TIE Interceptor

Given the timeline of the game (between episodes III and IV), how can it be influenced by a ship that does not even exist yet? Vryce 23:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

i agree it is in the game world but that should be behind the scenes rightJedikiller723 21:39, 29 August 2008 (UTC)jedikiller723

LEGO?

I found some forum pics on FBTB.net with the box art for the Rogue Shadow. Relevant thread

Who is Galen Marek?

64.112.220.33 14:00, 29 September 2008 (UTC)OK, I get that "Galen" is the name given in the novelized version of TFU, but "Marek"? According to the in-game databank (which I've read is considered canonical by Lucas et. al.), the Starkiller's father was the Jedi Kento Nion. Where did this other name come from? For that matter, the name Galen never appears in the game either!

As far as I remember, Galen Marek was his full name given at the end of the TFU novel. Bail Organa reveals it to Eclipse, Kota, Mon Mothma and Bel Iblis. - Cavalier One(Squadron channel) 14:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

5.3 Factual correction

The Rogue Shadow specs box lists the length at 65 meters. I don't know the length but 65 meters seems too long (that's twice the length of the Millennium Falcon). Lego has released a Rogue Shadow model that seems to be based on a vehicle in the 15-18 meter range.

  • From playing the Wii version of the game at least, I would say it is more somewhere in the 40 meter range. 65 meters is far too big. By comparing the length of the boarding ramp which is about 5 meters (by comparing the size of persons walking down it) long, the Rogue Shadow is about 7-9 times longer. 50 meters at the very most.

Ship design

Is it just me, or does the aerodynamics of this ship balance it so that it would go into a tailspin if it tried to take off in an atmospheric enviornment? The thing isn't remotely symetrical, and I don't see any difference in engine size or placement to compensate. 74.183.255.204 23:51, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • lots of atmosphere capable ships in star wars are not symmetrical, i guess because of anti gravity technology it is not necessary for the atmosphere to influence the ship's flight--99.141.179.43 23:26, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

Appearance in TFU 2

In one of the webdocs on the official site a ship bearing strong resemblance to the Rogue Shadow is seen, yet it is still very clearly a different ship. It is possible that, like the Tantive IV, the ship was upgraded via a heavy renovation. However, I don't think it's safe to make such assumptions. –– Darth Shohet –– 02:29, September 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • The Rogue Shadow is in The Force Unleashed II novel and comic at least, so presumably the game too. But its appearance in the graphic novel does look slightly different. Most notable is the pods. Now, they both have a forked, two-foil appearance, and they fold together. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 15:11, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
    • The ship has been identified by LucasFilm as being the Rogue Shadow. GethralkinHyperwave 22:05, October 13, 2010 (UTC)

Length

Sorry for opening a new thread. I wasn't able to answer to one of the older threads above with the same topic. I think everyone agrees now that the Shadow isn't by far 65 (!) meters long. One just has to watch the cutscene from TFU with Bail Organa and the Lambda Shuttle to see that. The question is: which source started spreading this fake length? It seems everybody then copied that number blindly without checking or having a closer look. If we could make out the source or even ask one of the developers who designed this ship, they could tell us exactly how long the Shadow really is. Does anybody know whom to contact for this matter? where is the training room

the training room part would take up like the whole ship there isn't any room for it Joe217

Why are there multiple links, that should link to one article, linking to random things

Imperial(Galactic Empire/Legends) Transport(Transport/legends) what is the point of this? why would you separate them? Clearly written to be one thing. No reason to add that. Joe217
