Saw
Is saw Gerrera confirmed to be a member of this squad? —Unsigned comment by GeneralZELITE (talk • contribs)
- Nope; they apparently go to him for help. Corellian Premier

- Okay. That makes sense. I think Leia sort of described him as being a part of a separate faction one time. and partially defying the alliance. —Unsigned comment by GeneralZELITE (talk • contribs)
Name
Is it possible that this squad is the first incarnation of the Rogue Squad, the second being those in the Battle of Hoth? It would make sense, seeing as Jyn is likely "Rogue One" ie. her callsign is Rogue One, with Captain Andor possible being Rogue Two, and so on. Dr. Legendary (talk) 22:01, August 30, 2016 (UTC)
- Perhaps, but i feel like Cassian should be Rogue One as he is the team leader. --GeneralZELITE (talk) 06:16, August 31, 2016 (UTC)
- According to LEGO page the squad's name is Rogue One (https://www.lego.com/en-us/starwars/characters/pao-e558f04c9e9040128abc5b65537e3c13). Shouldn't we move the page? --Darth Paulus 14:13, September 20, 2016 (UTC)
- That description could refer to a name. It could also mean "the team from Rogue One." So I wouldn't call a toy description confirmation of anything at this point. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 16:05, September 20, 2016 (UTC)
Good enough to make a vector from?
/u/Odawg225 found shower gel in Germany which has a Rogue One logo. Since it's in a store, it's most likely licenced. Is that enough for the logo to make it here?

Legacy & Behind the scenes
i have no source, but i think we'd have to bend over backwards not to believe that the filmmakers named Rogue One after the extremely high-profile Rogue Squadron, and that the Rebel Alliance named Rogue Squadron in honor of Rogue One.
i request that the behind the scenes and Legacy sections be edited to reflect as much, even if we have to qualify the statement by pointing out that no official sources have given confirmation.
Unless someone official HAS confirmed, in which case it REALLY needs to be in the article.
