Fact File
In the The Official Star Wars Fact File issue 118 it states that this planet is in the Nabali system. It also lists under species: Nunish. Is there another source that mentions this species?. Volemlock, 20 April 2006

Moons
The Essential Atlas lists Rhen Var as having no moons. However, this is incorrect. In trying to figure out what type of star Tor is, I've been looking through my copy of the "Star Wars Omnibus: Tales of the Jedi Volume 2 and I" discovered something. Rhen Var has at least one moon. The omnibus list "Redempition Issue 4 The Trials of a Jedi" as chapter four of "Redemption" and on page 426 we have a night time sky with a moon shining upon the ruins where Ulic is training Vima. I had to pull out my copy of Issue 4 to see if it was changed between the original release of "Redemption" and the inclusion in the omnibus, but it is there. And it's there at the start of Chapter 3 ("Redemption Issue 3 Homecoming"), page 398 as Vima is beginning her search for Ulic after Hoggon dropped her off on Rhen Var in the last chapter. Though page 426 shows the moon with craters on it.
My question is, as "Redemption" shows there to be a moon but the Essential Atlas ignores this, which is to be followed? -anonymous —Unsigned comment by 71.181.44.118 (talk • contribs)
- Does the comic identify the object in the sky as a moon of Rhen Var? Master Fredcerique

- Unfortunately there is no mention one way or the other. The artwork depicts a nighttime scene, but does not refernce anything other than the planet and Vima's training. If I can figure out how to upload images, I'll try posting so people can decide what the object is. -annonymous —Unsigned comment by 71.181.44.118 (talk • contribs)
- Unfortunately, we can't assume the object is a moon if it's not stated, especially if another source directly states that Rhen Var doesn't have any moons. Master Fredcerique

- Ok, thanks. Figured it would be better to discuss this in talk rather than a direct edit. Would rather go about things in a more proper manner than have folks have to erase an edit because there is nothing to confirm it. -anonymous —Unsigned comment by 71.181.44.118 (talk • contribs)
