The Rebel Combat Speeder from Battlefront I is different from the Rebel Combat Speeder from Galactic Battlegrounds.
A different Rebel combat speeder.
If you go to Lucasarts.com and go to the game: Star Wars: Battlefront, then click on navigate and go to "gameplay," and then "vehicles," then "Alliance," and finally on the "combat speeder;" they curiously show a different kind of combat speeder than the one from Star Wars: Battlefront even though it is the exact same game. The combat speeder has the exact same description as the AAC-1 speeder tank and the Rebel combat speeder but looks like a speeder bike. Can someone tell me the model of this combat speeder "bike" and find out why is LucasArts showing a different kind of combat speeder on their website? Cyfiero 05:37, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- Any1 checked it out yet?
- This is a different speeder because the one shown on the Lucasarts page represents a concept vehicle that didn't make it in to final production. It was eventually released as an unused asset but did not represent the final version that made it into the game. The picture on the main article was reverted to the previous picture to represent this. --Maveritchell 05:05, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
- It is on the official Battlefront site, therefore it is official. I have reverted back to the previous version. If you have some proof to back up your claim, then present it here. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 05:38, November 19, 2009 (UTC) - What can you possibly want as proof? It's not in the game anywhere. The developer who later released source to the model called it a "light attack speeder" on his page (additionally, it was identified as a Republic vehicle, see: [1]), but that doesn't mean anything, I would assume. There isn't a single appearance of it in the published game and the speeder identified on that page was replaced by a different model in the game. --Maveritchell 16:33, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
Possible name
According to the Battlefront wiki it's called the V-25. Can anyone get a confirmation on where this name originated? --Valiran (talk) 06:03, April 11, 2020 (UTC)
