How do you know that Raltharan was a Zabrak? It is my understanding that the character is never actually seen in the game. Joser_Kyind
- I agree, this character was never mentioned at all in the game and his or her species was not mentioned in the book either. DarthMaul431 19:57, 19 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I agree also and so have changed it. Eyrezer 04:06, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- We don't actually see Raltharan in Jedi Academy, but he is present in the scene where Luke pairs off the masters and apprentices. The camera cuts away from Luke, but you can hear him say "So, Raltharan, you will be assigned to Master Horn." —Darth Culator (talk) 21:02, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- ACTUALLY, we see Raltheran, but its a random npc. Every time you see the cutscene you will see a different species. Stake black 14:27, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Is it just me, or does Raltharan appear as a Kel Dor more than the rest? --72.197.35.238 04:09, November 15, 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. Actually, he is a Kel-Dor whenever you are a human male with brown hair. That's what should be canon. Every time I've played a human brown-haired male, it's been a Kel-Dor. --206.253.51.107 22:48, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- So, should we change his race to Kel Dor then?--92.114.148.141 17:43, April 10, 2015 (UTC)

Raltharan's Survival
While (s)he is mentioned in The Unseen Queen, it never says that (s)he is still alive. It only confirms that the "Master Horn" (s)he is assigned to was actually Corran. There is not enough canonical evidence to prove either way that (s)he survived the Yuuzhan Vong War. We can't even prove that Raltharan was alive at the beginning of the Yuuzhan Vong War. —Unsigned comment by Joser Kyind (talk • contribs)
Jedi Knight?
Does it say in Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen that he became a Jedi Knight? Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 03:13, July 9, 2011 (UTC)
The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia
Should there be an edit in the Behind the Scenes section mentioning a discrepancy in this source? The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia entry on Raltharan states:
A Padawan learner trained by Corran Horn following the Yuuzhan Vong War.
This does point to Raltharan being alive following the war. But unless there were two characters with the same name (clones?), the one sentence entry either contradicts the characters being mentioned at the beginning of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy or suggests that Corran was still training them during the war. The latter seems unlikely as Corran was still attached to Rogue Squadron at the time the game takes place and would have had to be on leave to do any training as a Jedi. We know he returned to active duty in the squadron after the game so unless Raltharan also joined the squadron, he could not have continued to train them. Not to mention Luke assigning Corran and Ganner Rhysode to the mission to Bimmel early in the war, a mission he should have dispatched Raltharan to if they were still training under Corran. - anonymous 2:43 AM EST August 17, 2023
