Nunk Leader?

Does the KOTOR Handbook mention Nunk Plaarvin being the leader of the Raft Syndicate because it seems clear from Prophet Motive that he is not in charge. --Jedi Scioli (talk) 10:46, April 9, 2013 (UTC)

Nunk is one of many leaders of the Raff Syndicate.

Hi, sorry, I'm not very good at fandom editing, just a fan of Star Wars, Kotor, and the Comics in general, and have read them very recently. The Raff Syndicate in the comics is a criminal organization involved in slave trade as well as selling off important planets. Such as Italbos, the one listed in locations. As a side note, I believe that Metellos 3 should not be left as their headquarters, as that is Nunk Plaarvin's base, and he is not directly in charge of the Raff Syndicate.

Despite this, there are clear established but unknown leaders of the Raff Syndicate. It is clearly laid out when Slyssk foreshadows the plot by saying "I worked for the Raffs, they are horrible, the only thing Syndicate guys are afraid of is the syndicate (referring to the Raff Syndicate of course)". Zayne then says "We don't have an army." Some more things happen that arent too relevant, but soon after, Slyssk, the Trandoshan cook for the crew, is dressed up as a Raff, and he says "Who are you supposed to be, you are obviously not a *Raff Captain*." sarcastically. He is clearly a Raff captain, and their ruse is to intimidate with a fake Raff enforcer supposedly sent by someone who is a higher authority in the syndicate than Nunk. Nunk apologizes to them, and they take him away to a fake planet to have a "talk" where they presumably strand him off world. Then they leave his slaves in charge of his segment of the Raff syndicate, and get them to stop doing slavery.

I believe this clearly established (all taking place in Issue 37 of the Knights of the old Republic comics) that their is a leader higher than Nunk, but he is a Captain in the Raff Syndicate, and thus should be considered a "leader", along with unknown members, as the only other shown enforcer, is one that Slyssk is pretending to be, but as his disguise worked, this would show that these enforcers do exist and hold sway over Nunk. Perhaps since Nunk was removed from his position, and his slave Chev took over, he should be considered a leader as well, likely a Raff Syndicate Captain, and Nunk would be a "former" leader.

I apologize as I am not skilled at the formatting or knowhow of all of the wiki, but I would like to clear up the information if possible! Unsigned comment by an anonymous user (contribs)
