Length determination

Does anyone know where the length of this fighter is listed? Do we have a citation for the fighter's length?--Frank V Bonura STAR WARS Deckplans Alliance Founder 01:17, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

  • Almost all of our lengths of X-Wing Alliance fighters are taken from the game's tech room or an OPT viewer program that reads the game files directly. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 01:45, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
    • The R-41 made its first appearance in "TIE fighter" do the length stats in that game agree with "X-wing Alliance"? Why isn't the "OPT viewer program" listed as a source? Does this program fall under the Wookiepedia's definition of an official source?--Frank V Bonura STAR WARS Deckplans Alliance Founder 03:15, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
      • Since it extracts data from the game, we consider the game to be the source the information is attributed to. Same goes for model viewers for the Dark Forces games and the KOTOR Tool and DLG editor for the KOTOR games. As for TIE Fighter, I haven't a clue. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 03:35, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Can't Find any Reference

I have been looking in the "TIE Fighter - The Official Strategy Guide" from Prima Publishing but I can not find any information about the R-41 anywhere. Was "TIE Fighter" truly the first appearance of this fighter? If so what page does this fighter appear on in the strategy guide. 1 seat or 2?

The article says this fighter had room for a passenger, but the article for the R-42 Starchaser says the difference between the two fighters was that the R-42 had two seats. So did the R-41 have one seat or two? Tarvin Calaan 01:10, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
