Quinlan name derived from Allston Eagle-Eyes?

In the Aaron Allston books from the X-Wing series (and perhaps in others, I just happen to have these on hand), he listed a Bob and Roxanne Quinlan as his "Eagle-Eyes" on the Acknowledgments page. Coincidence? --JustCause 03:47, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

  • I think it's just coincidence. John Ostrander reveals here that he derived "Quinlan" from "Qui-Gon." Menkooroo 03:56, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

Quinlan Vos' survival

How did he survive? I mean, he got shot by a tank. The only reason he is still alive is because the comic writers need an interesting character to write about.KitFisto19BBY 20:08, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Although he may appear in the live-action series and get killed off their. Hmm.KitFisto19BBY 20:24, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

Thoughts anyone? Although he is a cool character, I think George will kill him off in the Live Action Series.:/KitFisto19BBY 20:28, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

Strictly speaking, although this is called the "talk" page, it's for talk about the article, not its subject, speculation's pretty much off-limits. As unfortunate as it might seem, it prevents massive space waste that'd come of huge amounts of discussion and arguing that'd come of permitting talk on the subject of the article. Save by being a canon immigrant

By being in the clone wars he was SAVED by being a canon immigrant which means ALL the stuff that happen to hm is MOSTLY safe (I won't deny they MIGHT change little details). Thank goodness for that!

It really doesn't. The only thing saved is the single episode of TCW he was in. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 17:07, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

Quinlan Vos Episode I confirmed Legends canon appearance

Navigating through the old StarWars.com databank entries I stumbled upon this: https://web.archive.org/web/20070921092813/http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/quinlanvos/?id=eu

Does the fact that the Episode I icon below Quinlan Vos's name is highlighted in black rather than being greyed out confirm his Episode I appearance? Scrolling over the icon redirects to https://web.archive.org/web/20080623063116/http://www.starwars.com/databank/appearance/ep1.html which also confirms his appearance in Episode I.121.223.46.220 02:04, July 23, 2014 (UTC)

Battle of Geonosis

This article claims (without source) that Vos didn't fight in the battle of Geonosis. . . but the comic adaption features him prominently in several frames (albeit with a blue saber). Now, I'll make the change and source the comic, but I just wanted to see if anyone had a source disputing what I've proposed. Titillated Tarkin (talk) 04:34, September 17, 2020 (UTC)
