Chief of State

When i wrote the article on Pwoe i deliberately left out a succession box to emphasize that Pwoe was not the legitimate Chief of State. From what I understand of the New Republic Constitution, if a vacancy in the Chief's office occured, succession went to the Minister of State, a former Chief of State (Leia or Ponc Gavrisom) or a former Minister of State. I sincerely doubt that Fey'lya would have appointed his biggest rival as his potential sucssesor, so his claiming the Presidency of the New Republic was illegitimate. -- SFH 01:08, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • If a Cheif of State dies/is incapacited/unfit, it goes to the Chairman of the Ministry Council, then Defense, Commerce, and Justice - it's not stated who comes beyond that. That's as far as we go, except that the Ministry Council then elects a new acting CoS from any former Cos, the current Minister of State or former Minister of State. I do not believe any NJO books stated Pwoe's role as a senator beyond his membership in the Ruling Council, but that alone demonstrates that he must have been an influential senator, if not the Chair of one of those major councils. Anyhow, I'm fairly indifferent, but I imagine that while he claim was certainly built on greed, as a high ranking senator, it may have had some legitimacy. --SparqMan 05:50, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Bias

this article seems overly biased to me -- Roosmacfan 00:00, 26 November 2005 (PST)

  • Can you highlight some specific parts? I can see a few, but it helps to mention sections you think could benefit from some NPOV work. --SparqMan 08:49, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • I admit that I may have gotten a little "preachy" when I wrote this. Sorry. -- SFH 01:32, 21 Dec 2005 (UTC)
