Identity
Okay, "Refresher Reading" in Star Wars Insider 92 says that the sentry who tracks the Falcon's landing is Osleo Prennert. However, in checking the film, I found that there are 3 shots of a Yavin sentry. On one hand, as the article indicates, Lorne Peterson was the only person atop the watch tower. However, the article also implies that there are multiple sentries, and with the different angles and amount of time passed, we really don't know for sure whether we're looking one sentry or three. So Prennert might be the Unnamed Yavin Sentry, or they may be two separate people. Shall we keep these articles separate or not? -- Ozzel 02:45, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't have the newest issue, but if there exists enough ambiguity I'd keep them separate. From the image on the unnamed Yavin sentry page, it looks as if that's the scene where the X-wings are leaving to engage the Death Star. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say he's a different sentry, because I imagine they do have shift changes in the undisclosed time between the Falcon's arrival and the Battle of Yavin. Merge vote
Okay, take a look at the above discussion. On one hand, we know both sentries (Osleo Prennert and the Unnamed Yavin Sentry) are played by the same person. On the other hand, one sentry is seen one day, the other the next. Do we consider them the same person or not? Merge
- IMO it is a waste of space to keep Unnamed Yavin Sentry since they probably were the same person since the rebel alliance did not exactly have a lot of extra people to post on sentry duty.Darth Sarge 23:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Stupid Noob thing
- I did not look at this talk page before I added the Unnamed Yavin Sentry pic into here and marked yavin sentry for deletion. Yavin Sentry was deleted before I could revert my change. Is there anyway to fix my mistake as the vote currently has +3 to keep them separate. Sorry...Darth Sarge 23:08, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
