Twi'lek?

This always confused me... although this guy is stated in a few sources as being Twi'lek, he has three head-tails. What's up with that? --SeanR 11:34, 31 May 2005 (UTC)

  • He's a separate race of Twi'lek. (By the way, its actually four tails...well, four ends.) QuentinGeorge 11:37, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
    • That would be something to put into his article. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:09, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
      • He is an ordinary Twi'Lek but as he is very powerful he has more (see Lekku).Lieutenant J.J 07:50, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Lieutenant J.J

He was so corpulent they multiplied. See Lekku.23:49, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Name

What would be the proper form of his Twi'lek name? LelalMekha 16:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

extra head tails

Are his surplus lekku ever actually seen on screen? Or is it only from non-G-canon sources based on behind the scenes knowledge of the makeup/costume? --Obscured 14:25, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes in RotS in the Senate Hall (2nd scene) he is seen walking away from camera with his 4 lekku.Lieutenant J.J 07:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Lieutenant J.J

Jabba

Where did this come from? Its not proof that he frequents with Jabba if he's in the background of the Boonta Eve Race. Many characters (Bib Fortuna in the senate) are just put in scenes randomly or have the name of another character from a previous film. I am removing it from the page, as this constitutes as fanon. If someone were to find a source then they can put it back on. Lucius malfoy7 02:38, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

  • It'snot fanon. He's in the game. I'd say Non-Canon, or Ambig-Canon at most. Dr.Kermit(The Doctor is in) 02:21, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

I would argue that, as many of the characters in the TPM video game seem to be based on background characters from the film, the appearance of a character resembling Taa in the game doesn't strictly constitute an appearance by him. Guardian Assassin 10:23, August 20, 2011 (UTC)

The name of his Lethan aide (see Orn Free Taa's Twi'lek aide article) is Miela according to www.theforce.net/episode2/senate?

I posted this on the talk page of the Orn Free Taa's Twi'lek aide article too, but that page is very very discreetly linked on this page (someone made "female twilek" link to it rather than mentioning it more specifically on the page) so I guess not many people know it exists!

www.theforce.net/episode2/senate says "Orn Free Taa Twi'Lek Male: Senator from Ryloth with a taste for luxury and lithe women... Greedy and over-nourished... Pictured on his arm is his consort, Miela. Played by: Iain McCaig "

I don't know how reliable a source that website is, or how they obtained their pictures from originally, I found it because it is given as the source for the File:OrnyOrn.jpg picture in Orn Free Taa

Even more confusedly, http://www.dvdactive.com/editorial/articles/star-wars-the-changes-part-four.html says:
"Orn Free Taa’s aides were originally a red-skinned Twi’lek female named Supi and a white-skinned male who bore a passing resemblance to Bib Fortuna. Sometime before the theatrical release of The Phantom Menace, the aides were digitally replaced with two humans played by ILM Visual Effects Executive Producer Chrissie England and Lucas Digital President Jim Morris.
For the DVD release the human aides are gone and Supi is restored to the scene. She is accompanied by Pampy, Orn Free Taa’s aide from Attack of the Clones. We never did get to see the white-skinned Twi’lek male on screen, but there are numerous images of him scattered around the Internet."
*boggles* Supi is green according to the Supi article, I'm so confused now, not sure which sources are right, I suspect someone got the Supi one from the b ook and it's just that dvdactive site that has messed up though maybe? Their other stuff seems pretty well-researched though hmmm
