Dating

Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide says that the Onderonian Civil War was fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, while Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the entire conflict in 20 BBY. Which should we go with? - AV-6R7^{Crew Pit} 01:07, January 3, 2017 (UTC)

• This is worth addressing again with the mention of continued fighting on Onderon in S7 of TCW. This page ignores the end date given by the Rogue One guide, but decides to pick the start date and use it? Conflicting dates

I can't add it to the conflicting sources tag, since we don't have a template for 4 sources, but "Rebel Rousers Our Top Ten Rebels" — Star Wars Insider 203 places Steela's death in 19 BSW4 (19 BBY) Lewisr (talk) 00:57, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

• Maybe we should have a template for four or more sources. And at the very least, mention this in the BTS. (or in other words, "Not again!") SilverSunbird (talk) 01:00, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
  • Perhaps, though I wouldn't be too against to just mentioning all the sources in the BTS, and then having a template that mentions about there being a contradiction in the date of the war and to see the BTS about the situation. Splitting back up

A discussion, currently mostly on discord but also aimed at spreading onto the Wook itself so we have an an on-site record of the decision to change, is currently being had at splitting this page back up; the "Onderonian Civil War" page will continue to exist, but as the overall conflict. IE, we have an overall conflict page for the Clone Wars, but the First Battle of Geonosis, Battle of Christophsis, etc all still get their own, individual battle pages. This Civil War page will cover the overall conflict, individual battle pages will cover each of the battles as well Editoronthewiki (talk) 22:18, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
