Force net?

Are you sure force net and dark side web is not the same? They descriptions are the same in the articles. Darth Morrt 07:09, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

  • Hey Darth Morrt, I did some research, and found out that they are not the same. Tales of the Jedi Companion states that a Dark side web is made of "strands of dark power that wrap around the Force-user's target, ensnaring him in a mesh of brilliance. The lattice of energy severs the connection between the Force and the trapped individual and saps the strength from his body." The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia states that a Force net is "an unusual technique used by dark siders, it was a golden apparition of energy that could be directed at an object or another being. When trapped behind a Force net, a living captive was unable to move ; any contact with the energy of the net was similar to that of a lightsaber." Hope this helps.Tommy9281 Dark side Master SWGTCG (No truth in me) 07:16, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
    • OK. Unforunately, I don't have the Encyclopedia yet. Darth Morrt 10:33, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

"...strands of (dark side) energy that would wrap around the target and ensnare them in an unbreakable mesh. The lattice of dark energy would then effectively sever the (being's) connection to the Force and continuously sap their strength as well." Odojinya   "...strands of energy that would wrap around the target and ensnare it in an unbreakable mesh. The lattice of dark energy would then effectively sever the connection (between) the Force, (and the trapped target, regardless of Force affiliation,) and continuously sap the target's strength. (After this, the energy lines would proceed to slice through anything they touched.)" Force Net.

They are clearly the same, but worded slightly different. Anything in the brackets is the difference. This is and indicator of clear plagiarism.
