"Taskforce" move
Does an in-universe source use "taskforce" as a single word? Because otherwise, "task force" is two words... 1 2 3 — DigiFluid(Whine here) 02:26, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
- Task force is a canon unit name.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 02:28, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
- Well the episode guide was cited as the source for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi's task force' which was not in there. 'Obi-Wan Kenobi's taskforce' was --Lewisr (talk) 02:28, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
- That's fine then.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 02:31, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
- Was about to say the same. It's odd, but if it's in the episode guide, it's good enough for the Wook! — DigiFluid(Whine here) 02:32, December 23, 2017 (UTC)
- Possible that taskforce and task force are the same and interchangeable but better for now to keep it as taskforce as Lewisr suggests.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 02:34, December 23, 2017 (UTC)

Same or different fleets?
Do we know that it is the same task force in all three battles listed? Furthermore at Christophsis and Kaliida Nebula, Kenobi doesn't have any escorts, only his Venator cruisers. His fleet headed for Florrum has all of those ships listed in the article. Loqiical (talk) 10:34, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
Merge
I propose merging this article with Unidentified task force since:
- It can be interpreted that "Obi-Wan Kenobi's taskforce" is any force being commanded by Kenobi, which would apply to Unidentified task force
- Losing the flagship at Attack on Obi-Wan Kenobi's fleet does not mean that his taskforce is disbanded, and the fleet at the end of A Necessary Bond could be the same fleet.
Thanks. Loqiical (talk) 00:36, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- All three Venators were destroyed in "Bound for Rescue" and there were no Pelta frigates. Also, interpreting Obi-Wan's task force as any naval force commanded by Kenobi would be a huge assumption on our part. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 00:44, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Actually, I stand corrected. I was under the belief that all three Venators were depicted as destroyed in the battle. Since that's no longer the case for me, then I would be in support of this merge, though I disagree with the first point. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 00:48, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
