the difference

I think the difference between a standard holocron, and a noetikon…is how the holographic being functions, a noetikon there is several and they all seem self aware…a holocron the hologram seems simply…a guide ralok (talk) 04:57, August 16, 2012 (UTC)

  • Please don't break your post up with ellipses like that in the future. further, until a source says that that is the specific difference between them, we can't say that in the article. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 12:34, August 16, 2012 (UTC)
    • but it has demonstrated aspects that other holocrons have not demonstrated, and I like elipses, I dont tell you how to write I dont expect to be told how to write. ralok (talk) 18:41, August 16, 2012 (UTC)
      • You would not write a business letter so saturated with ellipses, so you shouldn't write on an encyclopedia talk page that way either. This page is for discussing—professionally—changes to the article, not for talking about the article's subject. The reason they have a separate article is that they are referred to as different than holocrons and they have a different name. Since you've demonstrated that you believe them to be distinct from one another, no changes need to be made. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 00:04, August 17, 2012 (UTC)

I am not writing a business letter, and I am discussing changes to the page. The demonstrated abilities of a noetikon are not fully discussed here…this may seem like a discussion of the subject, but you realize that sometimes (naturally) the subject of the page and the discussion of the page are going to be one and the same right? You cant just end a conversation you dont like by saying "this isnt the place for that" ralok (talk) 03:55, August 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm not ending the conversation because I don't like it. I'm saying that you haven't identified anythng you want to add to the article, so it's essentially only a discussion of the subject, which is not what this is here for. Please state exactly what you want to add. This page is basically a stub, anyway. If you like, you can be BOLD add what you like, making sure to follow the site's attribution rules. What about the Noetikon of Questions, the pyramid one that imprisoned the Jedi Consular when he was tricked by the Sith?

I have had two jedi consulars the first I had to delete and the second I am playing now, the first time I did not realize that the things the first two noetikons say when they are first activated are the answers to the first two questions the justicar trap asks you.

Vitalicron

Should we put a mention Behind the Scenes that they are identically shaped and engraved to vitalicrons? 66.172.164.6 21:53, December 11, 2014 (UTC) Guest
