A Thought Regarding a Possible Homage
This is a stupid question, but it's been on my mind for years and years. Is it possible that when Lucasfilm finally officially called Rodians Rodians, that it was mebbe a homage to Rodis-Jamero? Supposedly the creature designs he did included alotta snouted aliens. Could Rodians be named after Rodis-Jamero or is it just a bizarre coincidence and the species name was just a play on Rhodes and Rhodesian (which I've seen the term "Rodian" used in regards to anything origonating from the isle of Rhodes)?
