If there's only one known example, maybe this should just redirect to Neimoidian? — Silly Dan 00:41, 8 Oct 2005 (UTC)

  • There might be a second example — whatever species Edcel Bar Gane was. — Silly Dan 13:31, 3 Nov 2005 (UTC)
    • No, Alien Anthology and Revised Core Rulebook clearly state that, like humans, the Duros have spawned many "near-Duros" races, of which the Neimoidians are simply the most numerous.74.195.74.41 05:01, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

The possible yellow-skinned near-Duros

Could it be possible that he or she is just a miscolored Duros? —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 20:09, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Quite possibly (and OOU that's probably what happened) but since we already have a canon-attested category to slot him into, I don't think it hurts to throw him in here. But if he was the only example and we had a conjectural "Near-Duros" article entirely based upon that panel, THEN we'd have a problem.--Valin Kenobi 21:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Comparison image

It is a very useful image to compare between Duros and Neimoidians, but I suggest finding another, because my friend is an expert on Neimoidians and Duros, and says there are obvious errors. The pictures are obviously just copied and colored differently. On the Neimoidian, the cranial ridge is not prominent enough, the face is too long and narrow, and the eyes are too wide. Just saying. But if there's no other it's good enough. --The Lampshade... (talk) 10:51, April 29, 2012 (UTC)Lamp774

Other yellow skinned duros?

Other yellow skinned duros also appear in Star Wars Republic, in later issues that feature the planet Toola. ralok (talk) 21:48, August 15, 2015 (UTC)
