Erik the Red

Does anyone know of any sources that discuss behind the scenes influences with Erik the Red the real historical figure? -- Frank V Bonura 11:57, September 3, 2015 (UTC)

Senator Navik?

      • The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, for one source, treats them as separate characters and the later sources listed only seem to mention Navik the Red and nothing about Narik, so I think splitting them is the better option. The page just decided to merge for some reason and that it was an incorrect spelling without a source saying as much Lewisr (talk) 18:36, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
        • Attempted to add the [source?] reference but clearly failed. Not all that familiar with referencing even after all these years. But was attempting see if we can decide whether or not Navik the Red is the same character as Senator Navik/Narik. I'm of the opinion they are two separate characters unless there is a source to confirm it, particularly the part on Rodia's membership to the Alliance of Free Planets and New Republic owing to Navik's war crimes.
