Droid Version?
What sources say that the fighters seen over Muunilist were automated?Bly1993 16:58, 24 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- I believe the Official Site. I'll have to check on that, though. Admiral J. Nebulax 18:23, 24 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Anakin remarks when seeing Assaj waste Republic fighters that "This is no droid", thus implying that all the other pilots were droids. The only scene where we see the Nantex-pilots from behind, shows a vague outline that could either be Geonosians or B-1 pilot droids. VT-16 19:30, 24 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- That's the bad thing—Geonosians and B-1s look similiar. Admiral J. Nebulax 20:57, 24 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah. But VT has a point. And I just saw it recently and I'm pretty sure the back of the pilots' heads looked like B1s. Their heads are thinner and they split in the back. — Aiddat (Holonet) (Contribs Log) 20px 19:41, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- Then they have to be B1s. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) (Data file) 20px 20:09, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm just curious why they didn't use vulture droids, as they were used in Phantom Menace. Alpha X 15:12, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- Don't restart old topics. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 18:18, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Missle ship?
Jedi Starfighter shows Nantexs firing missles. Is this some varient? I was thinking it was an elite kind, or something(possibly modified to be piloted by the Geonosian Elite)--1upD 22:51, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- Definitely modified. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 23:17, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Not in BF2
The fighters aren't in BF2, as far as I can tell. Are they?
- Probably not. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 00:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll erase it then.
- Great. —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 20px 22:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Speed/Acceleration
These figures have obscenely large numbers for speed and acceleration, aren't these figures from the incredible cross-sections? (note that this source is often non-canon, and usually conflicts with other sources) or is this a never exceed velocity, meaning that it should never go faster than this for risk of structural damage? Any feedback would be appreciated, especially since this happens on other articles as well.
- No, it's neither non-canon nor contradictory. The speeds are possible due to all the safety measures used on starfighters, like deflector shields (been around since ANH). They protect fighters from the effects of friction when going to hypersonic speeds as explained in ROTS:ICS. The small, slower-than-our-modern-fighters speeds come from RPGs from the late 1980s and are usually not followed in any actual stories, which explains why ships go from the surface of a planet to outer space in minutes or seconds rather than hours. Interesting pictures.
