Latin Name
If I remember my Latin correctly, Mortis means "death". Bumbles the Time Lord 04:40, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

Sith Empire Logo
Found in several places all over the temple that Anakin is taken to are logos for the ancient Sith Empire (4 pronged sun symbol with 3 points per prong) Calithlin 05:02, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

Floating Mountains
I noticed, that in the background of the first shot of Mortis, there is images of floating mountains similar to those on the alien world of Pandora in James Cameron's Avatar. Not only this, but during the storm, the trees seem to light up also similar to Avatar. This is not the last similarity, as the entire planet is a conduit for the force, and is a lush Eden. In Avatar, paradise-like Pandora is a conduit for Eywa, the deity of the Na'vi. Eywa is a moon-wide influence, much like the force is to the planet Mortis. I must not be the only one to notice how similar Mortis and Pandora are to each other. --{{SUBST:User:Jhayk' Sulliy/Sig}} 02:03, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Unless your asking if this is worth mentioning in a behind the scenes section, this would be more appropriately posted in the knowledge bank. Korsa3 02:15, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
- Leave Avatar out of it (note the "coincedental" resembalence of Avatar's Pandora to Star Wars' Endor). brightfur (Questions or comments) 03:57, February 17, 2011 (UTC)
A Planet?
Does anything confirm this is a planet, and not something else, some sort of dimension or unheard-of force construct? Seeing that it's inside a monolith, does not exist on any coordinates, and contains living incarnations of the sides of the Force. It seems to be much more than just a planet. —Unsigned comment by Littleloup (talk • contribs)
- Again, sign your posts. The episode guide[1] (a source of the article) says it is, indeed a planet. Korsa3 14:28, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
- Yep, and so does the Mortis "Clone Card". 1358 (Talk) 14:35, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
What year is it?
I was wondering what year is when Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka visit Mortis? (Drgns007 03:01, February 12, 2011 (UTC))
- We don't know, and no year has been set for these episodes. Until a cohesive timeline is established, most TCW material has to be "c. 21 BBY" and sourced to the Star Wars Annual 2011. JangFett (Talk) 03:05, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
Location
Any confirmation regarding if Mortis is in the Star Wars galaxy(or why the cruiser that the Jedi were to meet up with was unable to see the Jedi shuttle and the shuttle unable to see the cruiser)? brightfur (Questions or comments) 04:10, February 17, 2011 (UTC)
