Necessary ??
Is this necessary? Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) 23:00, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, probably not. I just did it to clear things up a little. user:Darth Vatrir
- Plus, it's not even an actual power. I think this should be VfD'ed. Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Mytho
How do we know its just a myth, a lie created by Sidious to lure Anakin to his side. I mean, Sidious explicitly mentions that its real and he wants to figure out what Plagueis did to get it in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. Just a thought. Darth Vatrir (PS: I don't think this article should be merged with Force Heal. Force Heal is a Light Side power, while this in and unnatural Dark Side one.)
Force Heal (dark side) should not be confused with force healing (light side).--Gonzalo84 22:34, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
I always thought the dark side Force Heal had to drain something from something else before healing whatever it is you want to heal, like channeling energy while light side Force Heal used the light side to heal.Perhaps I'm mistaken...but I'm sure midichlorian manipulation is canon, for reasons already stated by Lord Vatrir.-Lord Thanatos 11:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Category:Sourceless my pulsating green @$$!
Is there really any need for this to be in the sourceless category? Bloah, it was in the kriffing movie!
Possible Legacy Tie-in
Is it possible that this is the very power that Cade Skywalker uses in his healings? The fact that he is stopping people from dying and that he is twisting the force to his will (that could be another way of saying manipulating the midi-chlorians) strongly suggests this to me. Jedigeneral
Cade's Power
Wasn't it mentioned at some point (by TPTB) that Cade's power was similar to the one Plagueis "had" (or wanted to have). Not the same, but similar. I'm not sure if I remember correctly. --Sauron18 09:42, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Major fannon ...I think
"It is also possible Darth Plagueis used this to create Anakin Skywalker." sounds highly fannonish to me however If it is mentioned in one of the sources. I won't delete it. Source in a week pleaseSargeLIVES 21:34, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- The Essential Guide to the Force references the idea. It's legit. Din's Fire 997 17:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Dark Side Elite
The Dark Side Elite underwent an intonation in which they are empowered by the dark side of the force Midi-chlorian manipulation could explain this power as Midi-chlorians are responsible for force-sensitives.
increasing a midi-chlorian count is not the same power as using them to create life i think it should have its own page diobern 02:38, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
male DNA
if he(plagueis)did use midi-chlorians to impregnate a woman ware did the male (the Y in XY) come from? personally i think this is the only compelling evidence that he dident because everything else fits diobern 02:55, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Resemblance to Elixir of Life
Is this really relevant or accurate? I mean, does this ability really resemble the Elixir of Life? It said so itself, the ability creates life but the Elixir of Life gives eternal youth to the actual user... or drinker. That's sounds different enough that I think the BTS section about it being similar to teh Elixir of Life should be removed. Cyfiero 09:50, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Applications
Let's not forget how Darth Plagueis used this power to kill the former monarch of Naboo Veruna in a very slow and painful way. he manipulated the Midi-chlorians to simply... die and taking Veruna's life with them. An he used this in himself too, Plagueis noticed his skin was rejuvenating and his scars disappearing, this all is in Star Wars Darth Plagueis 11:04, February 28, 2018 (UTC)
